This place is probably the best bakery I’ve been to thanks to the wonders Karl and his wife are creating. This cake was a letter tiramisu cake for my husband’s birthday and besides the awesome way it looked, it was really tasty as well.

Ever since we have found this shop, we try to go as often as possible. This place serves true French Pastries and treats, and they are fabulous!! The chocolate truffles are so full of flavor that it is hard to believe! Every treat we have gotten from here has been delicious. You must try them out if you have not already!

I adore this place and recommend it to everyone! I started coming here a few years ago and have never been disappointed. These are the best macrons you will ever have. We placed a custom order of chocolate croissants for my daughter’s birthday and they were perfect. If you come in and see a blueberry pastry in the case, buy TWO!

Absolutely delightful shop with wonderful chocolates, desserts, and some baked goods. Karl made delicious treats for a family member's birthday. Everything was perfect! Stop by--you won't be sorry.

Authentic French bakery. Finally! The chocolate eclairs are sinful. I'm a cookie monster so to me, all the cookies are to die for!. Lemon tart, piece of heaven. Thank you for helping gain few pounds!

Outstanding French Bakery!! Carl and his wife are so wonderful. The Opera and Kube desserts are two of our favorites. Flavor and texture are incredible. They knocked it out of the park with those two desserts. Carl's wife suggested I try their Celeste dessert. Wonderful. You can't go wrong with anything. My husband devours the whiskey truffles. Carl makes me his linzer cookies whenever I make a request. Have I mentioned how much I love their biscotti, butter sables and spritz cookies? Everything is so well done, has great flavor, just the right amount of crisp and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. A Cacao Affair is a treasure. Enjoy!

The most delicious, beautiful, distinctive, and creative chocolates I've ever had. These are my go-to for special gifts. They even deliver! I love everything about A Cacao Affair--they innovate, their service is spectacular, they care about their clients, and the chocolates are extraordinary. The chocolates are off the charts good. We also got 2 desserts that were incredible, a chocolate mousse and a tiramisu. The owners were friendly and the prices incredibly low.

Picked up our Bûche de Noël order. Very excite to try! A lot of interesting chocolate flavors. The owners are lovely hardworking French couple! Merci beaucoup for the treats!

We are ashamed we didn't know this place was around the corner for several years. The patisserie is gorgeous. I live in Cambridge, MA and in that area and Boston cakes like this are $10-$15 a piece. Delicate, exquisite, flavorful and the service was top notch.

These chocolates make wonderful gifts: beautiful & delicious. Everyone I've given them to has been delighted. The staff are welcoming and very patient with questions & recommendations. The exterior of the shop & its location make it seem under-the-radar, but A Cacao Affair offers top quality, creative chocolates to rival any you'd find in Atlanta.

I have a tradition of giving my wife fine chocolates for Christmas. After the pandemic caused the failure of my usual shop, i was unsure about being able to continue this tradition.

However, the various confections at A Cacao affair have laid my concerns to rest. Not only is it better than the previous chocolates, not only does it offer a far wider variety of confections, but it is better than the best i have had in the past, including the best Disney has had to offer.

If you want fine chocolates, macaroons or the other confections they offer, then this is the only place you should go.

Now they also do bread (or maybe I missed it before)!

WOW! This place is awesome. The chocolates are amazing, and everything else looks to be top drawer. The owner, Karl, is very good to work with. Do not pass this place up. Their chocolates make very good gifts. I will be back!
