We stopped by for lunch and the food was so good. Our server was very sweet and helpful in decision making for the beer. We would definitely recommend this place. It has a variety of different foods.

Our absolute must have meal when in Helen. Food and service are amazing. Can’t go wrong with the pimento cheese appetizer. Their filet is amazing and always cooked to perfection. We prefer to sit at the bar and enjoy the environment around kitchen. The cook staff can be quite entertaining while you wait. Bartenders are also great!

While visiting Helen,Ga, for Christmas season, wife's and I ate at Cowboys and Angel's. This restaurant has a number of German meals and we enjoyed exploring the delicious meals! The food was delicious! The Ruben & potato meal was tasty and well seasoned. The service was top notch, and our waitress was very attentive and courteous. It was a positive dining experience... 5 star customer service experience restaurant for sure!

Great place to grab a some food in Helen. Indoor & outdoor seating, but very comfortable. Enjoyed the live music. Salvatore was out serve and he was a very nice. Food took a while to come out, but it was flavored well and good portion sizes. I really enjoyed the environment and will be back next time I’m in Helen.

We went for lunch. The salad was great.
My husband said the burger was really good. I'm sure this place is packed out on the weekends. We walked straight in order our meal , ate, and out of there in about 25-30 minutes.. We were there on a Thursday around 1pm. You will not be disappointed with your meal.

We went to this restaurant while visiting Helen for our anniversary. My husband was pleased with his steak meal, and I highly enjoyed my burger. Price wasn't bad, especially with the amount of food given. The server was nice and attentive. It was a bit of a wait, but it was also Oktoberfest. We will go again.

If you are a fan of chicken and waffles do not miss Cowboys and Angels brunch!!!

Seriously, chicken and waffles is something my husband orders whenever he gets the chance so I’ve eaten a lot of it in our 12 year marriage. These were undeniably the best chicken and waffles I have ever had! Not quite sure how they do it, but there’s a slightly caramelized sugar on the outside of the waffles that gives them the most incredible flavor and texture, soft waffle with a sugary little crunch and the chicken was very tender and flavorful as well. The chicken and waffles also comes with an apple butter. I’m all about the sugar so I had a bite with apple butter and syrup and it was amazing.

My huevos rancheros were delicious, I don’t think they could’ve been any better, and the house-made tortilla chips that came with were incredibly delicious, but I wish I would’ve gotten those chicken and waffles too because that’s one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth!

The biscuits and gravy were also very flavorful. If you eat a lot of sausage gravy, you know sometimes it can be a little too chalky, but that was not the case. With these you get lots of flavor, a great consistency to the gravy, and the biscuits were light and buttery!

Our server, Juan, was very sweet and attentive. We ate inside, because the outside was busy, but the covered outdoor deck looked like it would’ve been a wonderful place for brunch in the fall, too!

What a treat it was when we discovered this restaurant in Helen, Georgia. Fantastic. I had the elk chop which was phenomenal. The appetizer of the scallops with the grits was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Also, a shout out to whoever made the Caesar salad. What a great job. Good atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Great place! I've been following on FB for weeks before arriving! Our server, Tracy, was fantastic!! The food was delicious - everything we had was good! We didn't even have to wait for a table - service was prompt! Atmosphere was wonderful!

I had supper here with friends after browsing around Alpine Helen on a Tuesday afternoon. What a great place to eat! The three of us chose to sit inside with the air-conditioning, rather than outside, because it was humid on the patio from rain earlier in the day. I had the Alabama Grilled Chicken & white sauce, with a salad and a baked sweet potato as sides. This was a GREAT choice! The chicken was moist and tender, and cooked just right. The side salad (with blue cheese dressing made in-house) was huge and fresh. I loved the baked sweet potato, which came with butter and brown sugar. I also appreciated the Heineken 0% NA beer...ice cold in a chilled glass. One of my friends ordered the same grilled chicken with asparagus and mac n' cheese sides; while the other friend ordered the Buttermilk fried chicken with fries and corn...and both were happy with their food. Our server was fantastic...friendly, polite, happy, and efficient. The only drawback was that it was a bit noisy eating inside...the music was pretty loud for good conversation. However, sitting in a different spot might have have been less noisy. I'd highly recommend Cowboys & Angels in Alpine Helen!

Excellent food and impeccable service. The Elk Chops were better than the finest lamb chops. The scared scallops were on point as well. Such a good atmosphere and friendly people, highly recommended!

Great service with a steak dinner that matched! Flavor on steak was delicious and it was cooked to perfection. Mac and cheese, corn, and mashed potatoes were fantastic

We were very pleased with everything, food was amazing, along with all the people. Our waitress was Kim and she did an amazing job and was very attentive.

I had the Nudie Judy burger, cooked medium and my friend ordered hers well done, but they both were still moist and delicious. The coleslaw was not too sweet and nice size servings. The air was cool but they have electric heaters keeping the outdoor seating nice and cozy.

Great time and experience celebrating my mother's 70th Birthday Dinner. Shout out to Zoo & Kim and the other patrons who welcomed us and took part in our fun as part of our road trip and Birthday Party!

Cowboys and Angels was a great choice! We actually walked by and then took off looking all over town and came all the way back because it was the best ambiance, live music, covered outdoor seating with heaters, and dog friendly! Honestly, that would have been enough... but then the food was great and the service was even better. We loved our food and our server Kim was awesome! I had the Pack Mule and my 11 drive melted away. Add to that the singer played violent femmes! 10/10 recommended!

Had lunch here. Service was great as was the food. Loved the french fries and bison chili. Bathrooms were nice and it was lively sitting on the patio enjoying the beautiful sunny day. It's tucked back off the strip so I didn't realize it was back here. Glad we found it! Cute shop next door too - It's Just Peachy Boutique. My only complaint would be the $5 vine ripened tomatoes. They were average and way overpriced.

Me and my mother were down here in Helen for a short visit and we came and ate here for dinner and Kim was our waitress. Not only was she an extremely attentive and friendly waitress additionally the food was exceptional and everything was more than up to par. She said she was also a manager and I think that’s just amazing that she was and is able to juggle that much all at once. If you’re looking for a place with a welcoming environment this is the place you should visit 1000%.

This Was The Best Burger I have ever had!!! The fries were awesome too! I did get a little coleslaw on my plate , if you were wondering what that white thing is. Lol. Also, You can bring your pup with you! My sister had the gluten free portobello mushroom burger and loved it!

This place deserves more than a 4.3. The BEST catfish & hushpuppies I’ve ever had and I am a major catfish junkie. It was perfectly spiced and crispy but not over fried. I also had the Key Lime martini and again it was PHENOMENAL.. it even had the most delicious graham cracker crust. This restaurant is a must when in Helen. You won’t regret it.
