Paul's Steakhouse

DW ordered the shrimp and ribs combo, I ordered the prime rib. We had a good server, Mike. Our food was prepared correctly and served in a timely manner. The hostess was very helpful and friendly.
Their other server, "Ray" needs to tone down his act, he carried on for some 20 minutes with the poor couple sitting directly behind us.
We had a nice table by the river and was a pleasant supper overall.

Honestly one of my favorite places that I’ve ever ate at. It’s pricey, but I feel that’s it completely worth it. I got the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly. The baked potatoes were fresh and hot with a good taste. The fries were similar and had a good crunch. The key lime pie was also amazing. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

We got into town late that evening We decided to check out Paul's because we didn't go last time I got the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans My husband got the half the rack of ribs and his sides and everything was perfect It was good We would definitely consider going back here as well. It's the off season so it was not busy we were seated immediately Great atmosphere.

All the good was so delicious with big portions. The seafood platter was so delicious but I wasn’t totally expecting it to be fully fried; however, it was not disappointing at all. The ribs were also really nice and the mashed potatoes with gravy were really good. The prices were about as expected for Helen. The view on the river was lovely. The service was incredible and fast. Overall, the food was so good and highly recommended.

Came in for October fest with my wife we both had ribeyes and they were delicious and prepared perfectly cut them with our forks our salads and baked potatoes were great.
With it being October fest and a Saturday night it was extremely busy but our waiter was very good he did his best to keep the cups full and asked several different times if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this steak house.

This is a place that we visit every time we are in the area on vacation. Over the last 15 years, we have been here many times and I’ve been impressed each time. On this trip, my Mom ordered the ribs and shrimp. The platter was huge! The ribs were super tender. We all had lobster bisque, AMAZING. My sister and I both had the prime rib, cooked exactly as ordered. The staff was very friendly and took care of us the entire time.

Great date spot!! Drinks were tasty and food was amazing and fresh. My bf and I accidentally ordered a bone in fish and our server was extremely kind not making us feel like burdens when we asked for a filet style. The server was an older gentlemen working the closing shift on Valentine’s Day, and he was amazing at his job. Fish was cooked so good it fell apart from how tender it was (a good thing for me) and perfectly crispy. Definitely a spot you need to check out if you visit Helen a lot. (Clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had)

The food here was absolutely amazing stakes cooked to perfection. Huge portions, Jeff, our waiter was amazing. Attentive. Friendly wonderful service. A plus all around the atmosphere was beautiful off the river. Everyone in the restaurant A plus customer service. We loved it here we willdefinitely be back.

The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail were huge; almost like prawns. My wings were the best I have ever eaten anywhere. The ribs were succulent, delicious and falling off the bone! The Bananas Foster Cheesecake was scrumptious! More food than I could finish eating!

Our favorite place was closed due to a private party, so we decided to go here. The restaurant is located on the river in Helen, Georgia. It was not crowded at all in Helen. It was a Wednesday. The New york strip was cooked just right. We got green beans and baked potatoe. Also got a cup of lobster bisque. The prices are a bit high, but so is everything else in this world. The waitress was awesome, and the service was wonderful. They have a lounge with slot machines, which is separated from the restaurant. Not crazy about slot machines, and I was surprise Helen allowed it. But they did have a sign 21 or older.

So, as we were waiting someone told us that this place was terrible. Totally the opposite. We did have to wait a while but it was very busy. The staff was very nice and apologetic that we had to wait. Patrick, our server was on it. Order was taken very quickly and our food came out extremely fast. The food was delicious. Great job! Our first time here and definitely not our last.

2nd visit. Just as good as the first time. I ordered the Fried Jumbo Shrimp (1/2 pound) and my wife ordered Beef Tips and substituted mushrooms for the onions. Even though they are currently short-staffed, we were seated quickly. Customer service was excellent. Our server was Jeff. Food came out soon after ordering. My Shrimp and baked potatoes were great and my wife really enjoyed her beef tips and mushrooms. This location is highly recommended!

Everything was AMAZING! From the service to the food I had the grouper, and my husband had the steak, everything was cooked perfectly

The long wait was worth it! The food portions were huge and the ribs were “fall off the bone” and the bbq sauce was amazing. Plan ahead though The place gets packed pretty early. We just went next door to the roller coaster while we waited to be seated. Joey was are waiter and he was phenomenal. He was always asking if we needed anything and really fast with the refills.

We didn't even eat here, But this location luckily allowed us to use the restrooms without paying. The bar across the river did not have any bathrooms available to use or offer us any other solutions. The staff at this bar was courteous and polite and also offered drinks, seats and places to watch the local and non-local football games that were on television vs offering us the local Hulu selection of streamed telenovo's. 100% spend your money here, not across the river!

This is a great restaurant of Helen, Georgia. Most of the staffs are well behaved, kind and understanding. We reached very late over there but they showed us a warm welcome in a chilly night around new year. The food was excellent in both the ways quality as well as taste. We ordered fish, crab and chicken only. It is a riverside restaurant so very scenic during day time. The restaurant has their own big parking lot but it’s location is very convenient so walkable from other public parking lots too.

Great, terrific service, the food was great, had lemon pepper wings and they were real good (great) big wings and also had the ribs, now the ribs were really good but not the best.
