Tokyo House

I went for lunch for the first time. They took a regular amount of time for my plate of Lo Mein, it has a wonderful taste to it. Very flavorful, I'm definitely coming here again. The staff is also soooo nice and genuine.

Nicely prepared and food is delicious. I do wish they'd come back with the MTW 1/2 off sushi.

I love eating here whenever we can! The sushi rolls are amazing, the fried rice is amazing, the steak is amazing. EVERYTHING IS AMAZING.
The owner and employees are also very sweet and friendly! It's a nice little restaurant, never really too busy when we go. My favorite restaurant in town!

Food is excellent. Service was pretty good. Only complaint is that it was very hot inside. Almost unbearable. But the portions are huge and worth the money. Great eel sushi also!

Edit: me and my spouse went here again for our one year anniversary dinner. We usually cook at home but we decided to go out. He had never been to Tokyo house so we decided to go there ( I have been twice before). I told him the appearance is a little off putting but the food is so good!! We had the dancing eel roll and two hibachi dinners. Soup and salad come out first, and if you eat all that you will be full before your entree comes, which is the best part! This hibachi restaurant is exceptional. The service can be a bit slow. But the food is so damn good that it's makes up for that!

My family and I had dinner at Tokyo House for the first time tonight. We were pleasantly surprised. The food and the service were fantastic! I had been craving sushi and it was perfect! We will definitely be returning soon!

Everything was delicious and the service is excellent. We had an eel roll, firecracker rolls, a spicy salmon roll and a salmon and cucumber roll. Also, gyozi, which are fried pork dumplings and egg rolls. Everything was delicious, especially the firecracker roll which had tuna, shrimp, salmon and sprinkled with crunchy bits and spicy sauce. We were attended to by two lovely young ladies that got everything right. Monday through Wednesday is half off sushi so we stuffed ourselves, $40 for 5 tasty rolls and four plates of delicious appetizers.

Our family ate here for the first time tonight. We sat around the hibachi grill. It was incredible to watch and the food was AMAZING in quality and quantity. The prices were very fair. No wait time on Saturday evening. Will definitely be coming again. This place is a hidden gem.

We LOVE Tokyo House! It’s hard to find great sushi places around here and this is a hidden gem! The fish is so fresh and options are plentiful. The service is great as well. Right now sushi is HALF OFF mon-wed. You can’t beat that!

This place is amazing! Me and my boyfriend go here for our lunch date all the time. So cute and affordable! Love the 50% off sushi mon tues and wed. The dinner prices are 2x the lunch prices though. Our favorite items are Hibachi chicken and steak and for sushi we get the Western Roll. Hibachi comes with soup and salad.

We came 30 minutes before closing. Not only was our service exceptional, the hibachi was the best we have ever had, no doubt. My husband loved his sushi as well. You can tell these people truly care about the food they put out. So happy to find a phenomenal Japanese restaurant around the Athens area. The miso soup, gyoza, filet mignon and chicken with fried rice, and the spicy ramen with shrimp was top notch.

Tokyo House has recently really stepped their game up. Not sure if new management or better chefs. Their rolls are delicious and my wife and I now order here at least once a week. Make sure to take advantage of their special weekday prices.

Tried it for the first time tonight. There were a few hiccups on our order but my order sounded super similar to another and you can't read lips with the mask on. Regardless, it was so delicious. So so so good. They also gave us free soups for the wait on food.

We ordered takeout of chicken habachi, a firecracker roll and a super crunch roll. The food was excellent. I was really surprised the soup they gave us was so good. I see myself coming here more often.

Best Japanese food in Atlanta/ Athens area in Winder, Georgia! Always come here when I am in town. Delicious and best salad dressing! Very reasonable priced and does not hurt my stomach ( like Chinese).

2019 update. New owners. Hibachi is a very good price and generous portions and delicious. We love the sushi! Staff is very nice.

Swung by to grab some takoyaki to fill a craving since our usual place is far away and only doing takeout still.

Food was fresh and tasty, people were friendly, and the place was clean. Not a lot of Japanese restaurants around here seem to offer takoyaki so its great to have found a spot so close.

Takoyaki was crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside just like it should be. Maybe ask them to go a little light on the katsuobushi, unless its your favorite part.

I had Tokyo House for the first time tonight (11/21/2017). I was blown away by my meal. The best way I can describe the experience is getting to the point where you know you are full, but the food makes you keep eating. I had to force myself to stop spooning their food into my mouth, and take a to-go box. I will definitely be going here again.

Fried rice has a delish smokey flavor
I would recommend choosing steamed rice as a side for the protein of choice because there is plenty of sauce and veggies to mix with.

Came in Saturday 7pm ordered some sushi🤤 and some other food everything was good. Sushi was really good. Definitely recommend and will be going back.
