I could never write or say enough to express how absolutely amazing Schaff has been to me and my family. John and Holly are truly a God send. I originally had the most horrific experience with a another local funeral home, Peace of Mind and they stepped in and picked up my son and were so supportive and empathetic throughout the whole experience. A special thanks to Colton for the beautiful video to honor my son and thank you Colton you made my son absolutely beautiful like an angel during the service after the horrific experience I had with the prior funeral home. Everyone really listened to me and literally everything I asked for they made sure it was done. Even after the funeral they have been more than supportive and helping me with any questions or anything I need. If I could give a million stars I would. I will highly recommend them to anyone that is dealing with a loss in their life to have someone that really cares. Losing my son was the most horrible thing I've ever experienced in my life and they made everything so peaceful and wonderful I cannot say thank you enough. The funeral home is absolutely beautiful and Holly and John felt like they were part of my family throughout this entire process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have no idea how much this meant to me. Thank you for making the goodbyes to my son the most peaceful I could have ever imagined. I will refer you to anyone I know that deserves to have this experience when planning the loss of a loved one. Thank you to the entire Schaff Staff.

The staff at Schaff's Funeral Home are the most compassionate people when it came to planning my daughter's funeral. Everyone at the Schaff Funeral Home went above and beyond for my family. From the director that came to the nursing home, to the director that met with my siblings and I to finalize the details for my father's service, they made us feel like family and provided a lot of comfort at a very difficult time. They did an amazing job with the makeup, especially considering we could not have the service immediately. They took the time to really listen and ensure our family's needs and my father's wishes were not only respected but met beyond our expectations.

Our brother died suddenly of heart failure on 1/28/20 just before c19 went global. Whatever we needed they provided, sympathy, guidance, and most importantly in times of stress it was all stress free! You would think this 5 star treatment would be so expensive! Instead it was very reasonable and they made no fuss about payment. “We will bill you later!” So so surprising to find such great value and kindness. I am very grateful that our friends all said Schaff is the place to go. I mean 100% of of friends and family recommended them. At a time when emotions are so raw it is easy to feel later that you were taken for ride but with Schaff we were taken care of at every turn.

The unprofessionalism of forgeting to call the crematorium and tell them the family wanted to say there final farewell and put personal items in with her is beyond ignorance. If I could give this place a minus I would. They don’t deserve to be open. There is no way this mistake could ever be made up
There should be legal measures for negligence as far as I’m concerned.
