This place is good for parents with kids and also adults. You can take memorable pictures on park hills and enjoy Christmas lights. A clean bathroom, water fountain and trash containers add more comfort. There's an artificial waterfall that works during daytime (close the road) Also, the Unicoi trail starts 50-100 yards uphill from park parking. Sigh shows no picnic items can be brought.

Great playground for the kids, and plenty of benches and porch swings for the parents/grandparents. Nice walking paths for dog-walking and restrooms nearby. We will definitely stop by again when spending the day in Helen!

My kids have a lot of fun at this park. It is also really shaded which I love. There are bench swings and benches to sit on while the kids are playing. The gazebo is beautiful and we love the little waterfall (Alana Falls). The landscaping is beautiful as well. There are nearby bathrooms in the downtown shopping/restaurant area.

Nice shady place. Clean, right in the middle of town sort of hidden which is even better. Benches, swings, and tables to relax in the breeze. Plenty of playground equipment for children plus a nice walking path.

Very beautiful little State park. Starts right about from where the North main Street of Helen starts. Entry is free. Perfect for a family picnic or even kids. There are picnic shelters also in the park. It looked unbelievable when there were Christmas lights. It looks stunning at late evenings. The view from the park is also great. Plenty of photoshoots take place during the day in the park. Parking could be an issue, but there are plenty of paid parking options nearby. Overall a great experience. Would surely recommend.

Cute little public space in bustling downtown Helen, Georgia. The Alana Falls is on the grounds, kinda cool the little falls at the heart of town named after a "founder's" daughter or wife. A nice break and a good place to take the kids. Helen is more of an adult tourist attraction than fun for kids so this provides a place for recreation and relaxation for the young and old. It gets quiet as you walk the path most days which is surprising so close to Main Street with the motorcycles and crowds.

Great lil family park. Really enjoyed the shade from the trees. That really helped with making the summer heat bearable.

This park just keeps getting better and better. I proposed to my wife here in October of 2016 when the leaves were changing, and we kept going back every year to enjoy the park and enjoy helen. We now have kids, and they love it! I would definitely check it out. They are always updating it, so every year, there's something new to it!

Lovely hidden gem in the heart of Helen! Very nice playground perched on top of a hill. However some of the equipment is in dire need of a few coats of paint, the metal shows through in large spots. Did not see any public restrooms immediately available but there are some about a block or two down the street. The parking lot can't be seen from the main road, you have to turn up a twisty little hill road and the parking is at the top. Do not recommend trying to push a stroller up from the bottom unless you're in excellent shape, the hill is quite steep.

Lovely park on a hill overlooking the town of Helen, GA with small waterfall, big trees, park benches to rest under the trees.

This park is great, it had rained a bit the day before I think because it was a bit muddy in places. But we enjoyed the various group swings there were.

Lots of play sets, my three-year old had a blast. On top of a hill so the view is amazing. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating nearby.

An amazing park right in the middle of Helen's strip. It is a lovely park with plenty of space and activities for children to get into it. My daughter loves it. We visited it multiple times in December for the Helen Christmas parade and the grounds always look immaculately taken cared of. Bring your family here or visit with your favorite book to relax, it's a wonderful park for all.

Nice park for kids to play in. It’s designed in dinosaur theme. Park is nearly 90% shaded which is amazing. No restrooms at the location but there is a public restroom a block or two done the street. Love to he park benches and swing sits to enjoy the area as well. Trash cans are on site if you are wanting to bring food and eat while the kids play.

Nice little park. Free parking. After our hike to Unicoi State Lodge and back, we had our packed lunch at the picnic tables in the park. I will probably visit again. Bathroom behind Arts and Heritage Center, a few minutes walk.
