Upshot Coffee Brake Shop

One of my favorite local coffee shops. The traditional macchiatos are very bitter but the caramel iced lattes are amazing. They make their own caramel sauce. Brittany is fantastic and always friendly.

Their berry scones and breakfast sandwiches are pretty dang tasty.

Fab spot. Really great espresso drinks, teas and various roasted coffees. The pretentious(lovingly) coffee shop every neighborhood needs! The food on the menu is all really good, and there’s different options for different moods.
They offer honestly just really good Good fresh espresso, and make really delicious unique syrups in house. My lil lattes are my favorite treat! Also I love the wellness shots when they’re available 🧡

I'm not sure how they do it, but their pourover is consistently the most flavorful and interesting coffee I can find in the area. Everyone's incredibly friendly and the place feels very cozy and welcoming.

Great staff and many options for vegetarian/ vegan AND gluten free
It's extremely hard to find anything worthwhile that's gluten free.
The coffee is fresh and made on the spot.
Atmosphere was great, very relaxing

Stopped in quick on a Saturday morning before heading home from a trip. Loved the vibe and the coffee. Open floor plan with big garage doors that in light and probably open up in the summer months. Loved the old mechanic shop aesthetic.

They had toys for my son to play with and he loved the banana bread it's super moist and sweet and the hot cocoa looked and tasted incredible my son enjoyed his first coffee shop.

First timer! Dined in I had a Mistletoe Matcha Latte with oat milk ( hot) and a cinnamon roll which was so good! and my friend had a stuffed Croissant with chocolate

Excellent service. Super polite and prompt. Food was great - the burrito tasted great. Arrived nice and hot. Coffee was hot, and tasty - a lot of different options, but I felt just right at home ordering a regular ole black coffee. And it was good too.

What a fun atmosphere!! The cold oats were "Oatstanding!!", I love pumpkin spice lattes and this was the Best I have ever had! I have food allergies and they were great with my needs! Your manager Brittany is awesome she helped me, was in the kitchen cooking, and back out making drinks!! Like I said great atmosphere!!

Coffee was great! PB&J overnight oats is always my go-to item.

Finally a real coffee shop in St. Charles that rivals it's peers across the river (Sump Coffee, Blueprint). The location is great, the atmosphere is well done, the espresso is great on their shiny Slayer, food is top notch as well. The staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. We'll be back regularly.

Stop by this awesome little shop while visiting St Louie and glad I did. Great atmosphere, love how they repurposed an old gas station. Staff was nice & friendly and my coffee was perfect too.

I came here to try a new coffee place. Upshot is very vegan friendly and it’s a local business. Those are two things I look for in a business. I got the charcoal latte solely because of the name. It sounded so interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was so kind and friendly to me. They were very understanding that it was my first time at the establishment.

College students: this is a great place to study! Outlets are everywhere and if the weather is great, you can get homework done in the sun (or in the shade). I love this quaint place.

Very good coffee and pastries. I got their Mocha latte (Hot) and my wife got their limited tiramisu latte (Hot), both of which were 10/10. The staff are nice and the service is quick. They have a little nook area away from the main area with kids toys that allow parents like me to sit and enjoy their coffee while the kids get to play.

For starters the veggie burrito is BOMB!! I had it three days in a row and each time they delivered .

The customer service here never miss a beat as well . As a collective team everyone speaks upon entry and leaving . Which is a big deal to me🤎

The thing I admire the most is when they have quick slow down times , the team is still actively engaged .. I love that .

I used to visit this place with my father, who was a mechanic, when it was a brake shop. Stepping inside brought back memories. The staff was wonderful and the coffe was really good.

Great coffee and great baristas. They're running a Slayer espresso machine, which shows me they take their coffee seriously. Definitely the best place for great coffee in St. Charles. Will definitely return when I'm back in town again!
