First Citizens Bank

The service I received from Iridian was exceptional. She was very informative with all questions I had dealing with my Power of Attorney status.

I have great service when I go there. Always greeted with a smile. The tellers as well as the gentlemen (guard) at the door are wonderful. Their app is so easy to use also.

Went into today to close some of my accounts. After being with GB then FCB for nearly 25 plus yrs it was quite stressing for me. LAURA was great!! She answered all my questions and was very helpful and professional. It is sad for me to leave but they shut my racine branch down. And it's inconvenient for me to travel 40mins there and back everytime I need to go to the bank.I would recommend this bank if you live close to it.

The lady that tends to me in the drive thru is excellent! Very detailed and nice!

Very professional staff. From small transactions, to safety deposit boxes, they are a quality organization.

It seems like there is hardly any staff each time I’ve gone in, but they try to get things done in a timely manner.

Poor neighborhood, the inside of bank smells musty and old plus it’s very dark inside. The tellers seem nice and helpful. Very much dislike no coin counting machine which to me would be Very helpful in this economy.

Incompetent, heartless service. Don't come here if you want financial success. I watched them treat a man coldly and unprofessionally when he came in after he had gotten robbed. He
was distressed and wanted to close his account, but the teller gave him this horrible attitude. Also, whenever you ask about services like CD's or IRA's, the "banker" will just hand you an informational sheet of paper and look at you because they don't have a clue what services they provide. These people don't deserve to be called bankers. You'd think they'd be better informed, seeing as these are employees that have been here for at least 4 years.

First Citizens Bank (formerly Guaranty Bank) has gone from the finest consumer bank in town to the absolute worst. The local staff are as nice as ever however the dramatic change in policy/procedure/customer service and Fees had made this bank and what is left of the local chain a misery to deal with. They are clearly on a mission to chase away all local customers. As they agreed to service the customers as part of the takeover they could not outright shed the local customers. Instead they have made it as difficult and as expensive as possible to bank with them in an effort to wind down any local responsibly and to be able to take the outstanding loans and debt they bought back to the southeast where the bank is located and service from there. I'm quite sure the local staff has been sung a different tune and I feel bad that their customer relationships are damaged every day when the home office does something else to inconvenience customers that have grown to trust local staff. Anyway the bank should be avoided at all cost. Or if you are vindictive, open a small account and use it the minimum amount to keep it open thus delaying their hope of withdrawing from the area.
