Whitefish Bay Middle School

Awesome first year experience for my child. Extremely engaging, cutting edge and rigorous. Phenomenal musical staff with Mr. Shoe!

Many People I know said it was a good...but their child didn't like it and some kids were douchebags otherwise send your child her!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whitefish Bay Middle School is considered one of the best schools in Wisconsin, however I would have to disagree with this. I myself went to the middle school, and it isn't up to par. The teachers are far from great, and they're either a hit or miss.
You're lucky if your child will get at least one good teacher in a year. From experience the only good teachers are the social studies teachers such as: Mrs. Schultz, Mrs. Lindeman, and Mrs. Dettlaff. The English teachers on the other hand, are a whole nother story. Possibly throughout the entire three grades, only two of the teachers in the English department know what they're doing. (Mrs. Liccione, and Patti Lynch) The rest of them know little to nothing.
The principal however, is very nice. The vice principal on the other hand, is a huge pain.
Regarding the social climate in the school, it is toxic and cruel. If you don't have any money, or are deemed as unpopular, you will constantly be picked on and treated differently than everyone else. THE KIDS THAT GO HERE ARE VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. That ends my argument. Don't go here unless you're rich, and popular. The school tries to deem themselves as having lots of pride, however I think the exact opposite considering the text above.

Mr.Truel, the guidance counselor, is so invalidating. if i say i always have a bad week he says no, i don’t believe that. he has no idea what’s going on in my life and he has the audacity to tell me how i feel. it makes me mad and i would never talk to him about anything EVER AGAIN. in my opinion, you should fire him. i’m not the only person at that school that feels like this. when my friend was going through a hard time she wanted me to be with her in the office and he said no and i said but she wants support and he said “i’m the adult and i’m telling you to leave” LIKE ME AND MY FRIENDS OPINION DOESNT MATTER. IF THERE WAS NO KIDS AT THIS SCHOOL, HE WOULDNT HAVE A JOB. he also blames you for how you feel. thank you, please look into my consideration.
