Empire Bagel & Delicatessen

This bagel place was so cute but more importantly had such good food. My bagel sandwich was delicious. I got the sausage egg and cheese which is my go to and I loved it. It’s so difficult to find a good bagel place in this area but the bagels here are amazing.

Second time here. This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is well priced and tastes so great. They make their beagles and pastries in store too. I tried their special which was a sandwich. It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I had. I grabbed a bunch of stuff to go as well. I highly recommend stopping by. It’s always a bit crowded, but it’s worth it. Come early to get bagels before the flavor runs out.

Great sandwiches and cold brew! I had never had cold brew or almond milk, but I ordered the caramel cold brew with that milk (the drink has a special name on a sheet at the register, cannot remember what it was) and it was delectable! Would come to this cute café and order again :) And thank you for being open until lunch on Sundays 😅 Tho it was cash-only for us that day since Internet was down!

Empire Bagel is a great place to eat breakfast in Thomasville. Their breakfast bagels are incredibly filling! We had the Roosevelt bagel sandwich you see pictured. The service was friendly and helpful. My spouse cannot do dairy. She realized after ordering the drip coffee they only had cream but the server offered her oat milk. The custom bagels tend to sell out quickly so try to go early for the best selection. Try the pimento cheese bagel if you get a chance!

THE BEST!!! Warm chewy authentic NY bagels, fresh chocolate croissants, amazing coffee, THE BEST STAFF! Ordered to-go lunch and they brought my extra dressing for my salad over to my place of work! Seriously this service is incomparable.

Apart from their freshly-baked bagels, Empire Bagel & Deli also has their authentic deli sandwiches and baked goods. I had their delicious Gramercy BLT sandwich for lunch today.

We are traveling and stop at Thomasville. Ga. We read good reviews about this Bagel Shop that made New York style Bagel we decided to give it a try for breakfast. One of our best decisions. Originally I was from New York and Moved to Florida. I haven’t had such good bagel in a very long time. I recommend the western omelette on a plain bagel with hash brown. Thank you Empire Bagel for bringing back memories. Also your employee are great.

A super popular spot on Sundays but worth the wait! Definitely the best bagels in the surrounding area.

Delicious. I was there on a Sunday, and they were almost closing (I didn't know), and still they treated me well and made me a delicious sandwich. Totally recommend it.

I got the classic lox bagel on an everything bagel and it was so good. The everything bagel is seasoned on both sides and sort flavorful. I also got a nitro cold brew. The service was pretty quick and the staff was friendly.

I ordered the classic and it was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant in general is peaceful & relaxed. The employees are so kind & will guide you through on your first visit. The coffee is good & the bagels are even better. My only word of advice grab a fork & knife before you sit down because these bagles are huge & extremely delicious! Highly recommended & will be back again.

If you have tastebuds, then you'll LOVE Empire! It's one of the hotspots the Thomasville/Tallahassee locals enjoy. Call ahead if you're in a hurry, but stay and enjoy the atmosphere if you can!

Food: 5/5 Excellent. Delicious! The eggs were light and fluffy. The cheese was perfectly melted. The sausage was juicy but not greasy.

Service: 5/5 Excellent. Order at the counter. Take a seat. Collect order when called.

Ambiance: 5/5 Excellent. Chic casual. The interior has an interesting blend of late 19th century crown molding and contemporary industrial fixtures.

Cleanliness: 4/5 Very Good. The tables and seats were clean. The staff appeared washed and groomed. The floors could do with a quick sweep.

Value: 5/5 Excellent. A very filling large sandwich. Great value for money.

Overall: 5/5 Excellent. If I ever visit Thomasville, GA again I would definitely dine here. I recommend buying some unfilled bagels to go! They are amazing!

Thomasville has it's fare share of elegant Southern cuisine, but sometimes you just need a proper New York deli kinda meal, and Empire does it right! Hand rolled bagels, fresh ingredients, innovative specials, a relaxed casual atmosphere, and owners who are there almost every day making sure things run smoothly. This is my favorite lunch spot in Thomasville!

Got a rosemary and Parmesan bagel toasted with scallion schmear. Absolutely delicious, large portions, and inexpensive. Excited to have found this place.

Traveling around I stop at a lot of different bagel shops and let me just say this one is definitely top three for me not only was the sausage, egg and cheese everything bagel amazing but the pecan coffee that they had was nuts Haha. Great service, cool atmosphere and nestled in a lively little town. Stop in and check it out, You will not be disappointed.

When visiting Thomasville we always grab bagels here. Go early as the line gets long quick - and it should because these are legit NY style bagels.
