The Bowery Bar & Grill

1st time here to eat, usually here to drink…. The munchie basket, “combo basket” whatever it’s called was excellent, lots of food and great mix. We had Pizza for the main course . I was very impressed, great pizza, only problem I was so full after the basket I couldn’t eat as much as I wanted to! Excellent crust and fresh veggies, I was very surprised for a bar pizza! Will definitely go back! I’ve been trying to work out a wing night there with the guys, and I am looking forward to going back soon!

1st time here. Our server, Lily, was quick, efficient, helpful and friendly, excellent! Our food was delicious. Tater tots & haystack onions were crispy and tasty, not greasy, perfect! Our sandwiches and drinks, great! Will definitely return.

Ok, I'll be honest. I was expecting this to be something of a "dive bar." Instead, it's casual, a bit darker and more rustic. Nice place to watch a game, shoot pool, or chill on at a back table with friends. I ordered the Pub Burger. A half-pound, tasty patty, with good flavor. Comes with lettuce, tomato, red onion and fries. Guinness on tap, along with others. Yup, not a dive. Friendly bartender, guests & a comfortable place.
Update 12/6/23: Had a return visit. Once again, the Pub Burger was too good to pass up. This time my wife and I both had the tater Tots instead of fries. Tots rule! The burger was big, juicy, seasoned right and worth the $10.50 cost with Tots included. Check it out for some great local food.

First time visitor, we walked in and April greeted us from the bar, was our server, wonderful service and yes the fish fry was delightful.

I'm not a big deal but I am Average Joe.

First time here even though this place has been in around for a long time. Had their perch fish fry and my husband had their cod Oscar, both of which were very good! Nice to know there's a place close by that has a good fish fry. I'm very picky when it comes to Milwaukee fish frys, but this is one place I will be going back to!

Pretty cool little bar. The bartender was good and the food was good. Everything was priced right too. Will definitely come here again.

Great little sports bar with a decent selection of food and libations. I walked up from the truckstop to get a burger and watch some baseball on a weekday around lunchtime. Even though it was very busy, and I’m not a local, the bartender (didn’t catch her name) greeted me right away. Service was spot on and the burger was tasty as well. Did I mention tater tot’s? Two Thumbs up regardless of the previous recent review from a dissatisfied patron. Definitely recommend.

Delectable food for the price, I haven't had the pleasure to dine but all the times I've ordered takeout the food has always been great!

Saturday BBQ rib dinner special, so tasty & tender! Meat fell off the bone with a fork. All the sides were cooked to perfection. Large outdoor seating area with a big screen TV and plenty of shaded seating. Good time.

If you fall from space...and land anywhere in Wisconsin, you will find bars like this; where the people are unreservedly friendly, the food is delicious, and the beer choice is fantastic.

And I mean this in no way to disparage the Bowery. The perfect end to a great evening. This is why FIBs like me love this state. It's your fault we come up here.

It's a quiet, out-of-the-way bar with the look and feel of a log cabin on the inside. It's plenty busy with regulars, and the service is great for everyone. They know what they are doing.
The food comes fast and cheap, which is great. My only complaint is that my fish fry was a bit overseasoned.
There are better places for food, but the atmosphere and people make it unique.

The first bar tender screwed up my drink but the other bartender re made it and took good care of me for the rest of the night. Fun place and great food.

Super awesome place to eat and drink this place is the Epitome of awesome I had a great time here for a PUB Man I'm telling you the food and service was great if your ever in town there stop in and Check it out and order what you like and I promise it will be good . The pizza is a must try I had the Chicken&Steak and they used slices of tenderloin and Chicken brest on a thin crust they added that extra for me the pizza was actually a margarita pizza and it was fire 🔥

Great place to get a couple of drinks and some great food.

The bartenders are kind and quick. The food is surprisingly good. They have a large amount of seating inside and out. They range from pool, to darts, to gambling machines. During nice nights they have an option to watch Wisconsin sports outside.

It's a bar that makes me feel at home. You kind of get that look when you first walk in from the locals but once you settle in its all good. The staff is really good and will take care of you. They give you total respect as a customer. I've been there about a half a dozen times and the food is better than your average bar food. In fact what I have had has been great. The pizza is really awesome. Once I was sitting at the corner of the bar eating pizza and the woman next to me wanted to trade a hot wing for a piece of sausage off my pizza because she really like their sausage. This is a bar that would fit into any small town in Minnesota with 2 bars and a Catholic Church or any larger city on race weekend (like Indy). I can ramble on but I will end it here with "It's a good place".

A fun experience for a Texan who does not always get to enjoy a Friday fish fry...Wisconsin style! Appreciated the great service and hospitality of the staff. Will come back for sure.

My favorite Towny bar! The bartenders are fantastic! Personable, fun and accommodating. Everything off the menu I've had so far has been good. I love theie personal pizzas!

Real good service, made you feel special. Fish fry was really good, light buttery cod. Perch was large as well. Delicious beer on tap. I'd go back!
