Penn Station East Coast Subs

The subs here are fantastic! Melty and gooey cheese steak and it was cooked to perfection. The natural cut fries were also really tasty. They also give the options of malt vinegar for the fries. Come and enjoy!

Fast friendly service. Customer service is superb! Oh you get a free cookie 🍪 on Tuesdays.

Yes, they require masks for now, but guess what they are a private business they are not beholden to you. If you don't agree you can turn around and go somewhere else. No one is stopping you but yourself. I bet everyone giving one stars because of the mask requirement would be some of the first to complain if a place was being forced to do business that went against a religious, political, or other personal belief of the owner. I don't agree with it and I respect their choice. I chose to dine somewhere else because of it, but in the future if they ever rescind the policy I might swing by. So props to the owner. I give 5 stars for sticking to your beliefs and freedom to exercise them.

It was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. I’m on a trip and all I’ve been thinking about is if there is another restaurant on my way. The people were very pleasing also. I visited the restaurant in st.louis. I will for sure never forget it. Thank you!

Every time I go the workers are always kind, quick, and helpful. Honestly one of my favorite go to places! Everyone should come and try their food at least once. Came here October 4th at 7:30 and the workers were amazing, the food was fresh, and the service was quick. Love it

Easily one of the best sandwiches in town. The good you receive actually looks like the food in the advertisements. 10/10 Bonus for requiring masks. I’m young, healthy , and vaccinated but I’ll be damned if I can’t wear a mask to help save someone. Thanks

Delish Sandwiches and tasty lemonade at decent prices, topped off with friendly staff that took time to listen to my child place his order and wore their masks - yes, even over their noses!

And the cherry on top is when my son toppled the drink all over himself and was mortified. They went out of their way to quickly bring towels, the mop, and a fresh drink. They even made sure to say goodbye specifically to my son and thanked him for coming in, insisting I take the towel with me for him to sit on for the drive home.

Definitely the best in Springfield and I've tried them all. They fix it exactly like you want it. Best fries hands down. When you walk in its still a potato, fresh sliced and fried crispy. I live a half hour away and often drive in just for my sandwich. I've never seen the chicken Philly steak on the menu but it's what I order over and over.

The staff is wonderful and very nice. Especially the employee, Chip. He always has a smile on his and very kind to my family when we come in and is working. The subs beat every sub place in Springfield, hands down and bread is to die for. Everything is fresh and is very much worth a try! We will be going every week!

If you're eating a sandwich and it's not Penn Station, you're out of your mind. See a doctor. The Cordon Bleu is their underrated best sandwich, especially with bacon added on. The 100 degree whether outside right now is easily forgotten by their absolutely spectacular lemonade, finally I don't need an excuse to eat french fries. Really, truly good stuff. Ask for seasoning salt on your fries and eat them with honey mustard.

Very good and fresh food. Fresh cut fries and hand squeezed lemonade.

The staff is always friendly and the food is high quality! I wasn't expecting the bread to be so fresh! I recommend that everyone try the fries and lemonade. I will definitely eat here again!

My favorite place in town for philly chease steak. Their other sandwiches are good also.
As others have said the staff is friendly and enjoyable to be around. I have always been greeted and chitchatted with which nowadays doesnt always happen.
Their portions are good and pretty appropriate . I get the 8 in sub and always walk away full instead of stuffed or hungry. The fries are fresh cut and good. My wife and I eat here for $15-$20 depending on what we order. Can be a tad messy so I suggest eating in or taking some napkins.

To the manager working today, thank you!! Every single time I come in you are polite and so kind. You are always working hard to make sure the customers are taken care of. You sir are an asset!! If you go in there today make sure you tell him hello and that he’s doing a good job!! He deserves it!!

Friendly Staff. Very nice restaurant. Awesome tasty Subs and the home cut French Fries were Yummy. Very happy. One of our new places to grab a bite when we go to Springfield.

The food was great! But what was really awsome was the manager.. I was having a Purdy ruff day my wife was sick in the hospital and this guys positive attitude was great he just seemed really happy and had some great customer service skills he was really loud but it was a bit humorous.

Awesome place to get a sub. I got a Reuben, it was amazing. My husband and son got an Italian and said it was really good. I got kids meals ham and cheese and they were perfect. Can't wait to come back.

Jonathon the Manager is just awesome. So is his whole crew! Always remembers me and the girlfriend when we go in and always just an awesome team. Cant recommend this location enough!

Love the sammiches here, fries are always fresh cut. The Philly cheese is my favorite, with 1000 island dressing. The bread for these sammiches has enough backbone so that your food doesn't fall apart mid meal, very important to me!
