Forest Hill Memorial Park

The morning of our mother's burial there was severe snowstorm. Dena was great, she anticipated the weather and suggested a morning burial so we could beat the snow. We held the burial prayers in the chapel and Dena represented the family at the burial itself, in the snowstorm. We are very grateful for the professional and also personal service we received from Dena. And we are grateful for Forest Hill for their continued good care of our loved ones.

Working with Dena at Forest Hill Memorial Park was a fabulous experience when planning our parent's recent burial. Dena went out of her way to make sure we understood everything and that everything was coordinated and exactly as we had wished! She is a great asset to the team there and we considered ourselves blessed to have been able to work with her at this time.

Dena was extremely kind and helpful. We did a simple service for my father, and it was lovely.

The only thing that was not to our expectations was that it had recently rained, and the stone/plaques were quite dirty. The grounds keepers should have made sure it was clean before the service.

We had an extremely good experience with the entire staff at Forest Hill Cemetery, you couldn’t have asked for more compassionate people ever. They listen and help you through your toughest time.

I recently discovered that my Great Aunt and Uncle are buried at Forest Hill cemetery, along with a distant cousin, so when I went to locate the graves on Monday Oct 16th, 2023, i find that over the years the stone of my great Aunt and uncle has sunk, and the grass has begun to over take the stone, so I put in a request the stone is leveled/trimed around and the vase loosen, so I can put flowers on next year, much to my surprise I received a call the very next day that the work was DONE, thus i went out to the grave today and I'm very impressed and pleased with the work.

Dena and team at Forest Hill were all patient and understanding with our family's wishes during this emotional time. I cannot thank them enough for the wonderful work they've done and the attention to detail with all our needs.

Staff (Dena) was very helpful with setting up the chapel service and burial for my mother. She was very caring and attentive to detail which enabled my mother's funeral to go off without a hitch.

My bother's graveside funeral was superbly and smoothly handled by both the cemetary staff, and especially organized by Dena Valentino, and by the funeralhome we chose from Plymouth, WI. As he was a veteran, my brother would be pleased to know he lies buried just a few feet from an uncle who was a medaled veteran of both world wars.

From pre-planning months in advance to the day of my loved one's burial, the staff at Forest Hill was compassionate, patient and professional.

From the initial appointment where my daughter and I were greeted so warmly, to the thorough explanation of services. David Simon worked with me and my family and was absolutely outstanding. As personally devastating as my circumstances were, Dena at Forest Hill was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, professional, & helpful in every aspect. She worked out details with the funeral home, which lessened "burdens" on the family, and went above & beyond in helping the grieving family to feel "comforted" , and to know that there are people available for ongoing support. Forest Hill is an absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly well maintained cemetery outside on the grounds, and also within the chapel areas. The staff here are so amazing, and the care that they give to each individual shows that they truly love and respect their jobs.

The staff is very caring and responsive. The acreage is similar to a golf course; however, much more dignified. If you have a significant nonhuman member ( 🐕 or 🐈 ), they can accommodate you. Express your feelings lest grief overwhelm you.

My son died twenty one years ago, & i go every day to visit him no matter what, i will be there!
Each day i have been there it looks amazing always grass is cut, flowers are all in place or snow is shoveled and the way is clean & well kept.
In addition to all that, well this year we had a lot of snow, i had a hard time going up there been that i also have a bad back; so one morning i go there and it is all plowed all the way to my son's grave.
i fell in tears that i could just walk up there.
For the people that work there it's not just a job for our loved ones, its about people that they care about.
