Was showing property in the area and stopped by for a bite to eat. The western omelette and hash browns were really good. Hubby said the biscuits and gravy were very tasty and biscuits were soft and fluffy. Waitress was friendly and attentive. If there was one negative it would be it was a little unkept.

Stopped in this town on a motorcycle trip waiting for the storm to pass over ended up going across the street from Casey's to eat at this Cafe was very surprised staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was Western and very clean. the food was very delicious was surprised by the quality of the food. Most of the group had the buffet ended up being $11 for buffet an water which is cheap anymore of quality was definitely there.

Good place, very busy. They have a breakfast buffet, be we opted for the menu breakfast. It's took a while, but it was worth it. Stop in here, especially if you like John Wayne. 11/4/23 It's been a few years since we've been here. It changed location, but that fine. The place is clean, service was wonderful, and the breakfast was great. If you're brave, get the Mule. If you not so brave, get the half order lol. Great place for breakfast.

Stopped in for an early dinner. Had country fried steak with french fries and the salad bar. The country fried steak was excellent! Probably one of the best I've had. Inside was clean. They have a smokers section in the back. I was surprised to see it, although it did not bother me. Will stop back in next time through town for sure!

If you miss the old hometown feel, Rusty Spur is a must stop. You won't wait long for you're food, but while you wait you can take in the atmosphere.
The farmers stilling around talking about their crops or even how "Aunt Bessie" is doing.

Great restaurant. Provides both smoking and non smoking sections. We've come here several times and even during their busiest rush the waitresses are still very attentive. Food comes out tasting delicious even if it does take a little longer (made from scratch). If you're looking for a place to stop along Highway 60 don't hesitate to stop here and enjoy yourself.

The food was absolutely delicious. My sister had the meatloaf which was very good. My chicken fried steak cut easily with my fork. It was the best I have had on I don't know how long. The Kentucky Derby pie was YUMMY! We will definitely be going back.

I absolutely love this place! The waitresses are always so friendly and the food is beyond amazing and they make you feel just right at home! I love coming here every time we come into town! Strongly recommend!

Food was excellent and friendly atmosphere! Coffee tastes a bit like burnt corn, but everyone has different taste.

This was a great country cafe with home cooking and large portions! Hubby and I shared the chicken fried steak dinner and my daughter took home most of her catfish dinner for lunch the next day! Papa ordered the half size of open faced roast beef and mashed potatoes and still took some home! Great hometown friendly service. We wished we would had bought the huge homemcinnamon roll for $1.39 to eat for breakfast!

This place is a gem. Stopped by here on the way back from Arkansas because we didn't want fast food, best choice ever. The waitress (Diane) was so friendly and so was the whole staff. Even the customer who bought my girlfriend some Cowboy Beans because he noticed she was eating all mine. 😀The food was phenomenal. Home cooked like my Grandma's on Sunday. The restaurant and bathrooms were well taken care of. Will definitely be stopping by here when passing through again.

We stopped late Tuesday evening as we were traveling through Seymour, MO, and found this awesome little café. Although I didn’t get a picture of my meal I had grilled chicken with sautéed broccoli, onions and cabbage. It was so delicious as well as a huge portion. My husband have the hamburger steak with brown gravy and onions and mushrooms over the top. He also had mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. He also enjoyed it.

Wish I would’ve had room for a slice of pie as they all looked delicious.

The people working at the café were super nice and I hope that we get to stop by again another day.

Hamburger and fries was delicious. It was extra large hamburger and patty was excellent beef served with generous amount of lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Servers were very friendly. Will definitely stop again if in the area.

Delicious...wanted a mom and pop shop and this for the bill. I had the smothered chicken and yummy mashed potatoes...my kid had blueberry pancakes. They were HUGE!! Delicious too. My Dad said...if i lived near here I'd eat here a lot. Rave reviews clean, spacious, lots of variety and a great staff!

First time eating here and we will be back. Portions are HUGE! Large menu selection and prices are great for the large servings. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and brought half of it home.

The food and service were great! Loved the country atmosphere.

Love the food and excellent staff. They're always quick and kind. I gave the atmosphere a 3 because they allow smoking in one room...which us probably a selling point to some but not myself. It's decorated cute and clean always.

We stopped in for a late breakfast before heading home, after visiting Southern Missouri Off-Road Ranch. Great little home-town spot. The staff was nice and prompt. The breakfast was great. I had a blueberry pancake and a western omelette. Highly recommend!

Friendly folks and delicious food. Fried catfish, fried chicken livers and fried green beans and homemade mashed taters with gravy.

Always a great place to eat. If you haven't been, you need to go. Super delicious, fast, and friendly.
