Americas Best Value Inn Seymour

The room was clean, the hotel itself was clean, day 1 we were late for breakfast, everything was put away, the front desk clerk offered to cook us fresh breakfast and he did, hotel was more than I expected from an Americas best and I will not stay anywhere else if I come back to Seymour

My husband and I stayed there about 2 weeks ago. We had a great experience. There was room for our uhaul overnight so decent parking. The location was easy to find and get to off of Hwy 60. The gentlemen that checked us in were very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean, as well as the bathroom. They had a good breakfast also. It was limited but had a decent hot selection. We would stay here again.

Stayed there 4 times now. Each time has been a delight. The entire premises is spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, the showers are first rate with plenty of hot water, and the staff I have spoken to are friendly and helpful. I usually make a trip that puts me here at my halfway point, and I couldn't be happier with the location or the stay. Leave here rested and smiling.

Previous reviews seem to highlight one main negative- unfriendly staff. I initially got that feeling as well, but can honestly say I think this business is ran by a family and the owner is simply tired. After initial contact the staff was all very friendly. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had a good rest both nights I was there. I had to leave for work before breakfast time, so I can't comment on that.

I liked this hotel and didn't have any problem. The rooms were very clean and the employees were nice even though I got there pretty late. When I left they were nice to me as well so the stay was very pleasant.

This is a very nice and quiet hotel. Staff was so nice and friendly. Room is very clean, well stocked, and reasonably priced. I had a very good breakfast at the hotel and it was free. There was scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, muffins, cold cereal and also orange juice, coffee and milk. I would definitely come back here again. It was a very nice stay and would highly recommend!

Not the friendliest front desk person which is fine I guess. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Very quiet peaceful location.

Reasonably priced and the room smelled pleasant and the bed was comfortable. Staff are friendly even when you're checking in at 3am. Walls were a little dirty.. But I can overlook that.

The rooms are CLEAN & updated. They were super nice at the front desk. This is a great priced hotel and doesn't overcharge for pets ($15.00 apiece). The property is kept up nice as well. I will stay here again. I recommend this hotel.

I was very skeptical to stay at this Inn based on the reviews. I was visiting the area and this was the only Inn (hotel/motel) in the area. The hotel was very clean, the staff was super kind and my stay was safe and enjoyable. My concern, I was traveling solo and over 55 years old. I gave it a 5 stars based on the service and cleanliness. It is not a luxury or high end hotel, yet the service was really great. Oh yes, the train cane by often and it was still fine.

My daughter and I spent two nights there this past weekend. What a nice surprise it was. A very small town, and this is the only motel, so we figured they didn't have to try very hard, as there were no more to pick from.. However, it was clean, attractive, well maintained, all the amenities and very nice couple running it. Good service, good breakfast, good people.

The rooms are very clean and smelled fresh. The beds are very comfortable. The front desk employee was very friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean spacious rooms/ Large Television free WiFi

My partner & I stay here every year in Sept. while seeing family in Hartville. This place is a nice surprise in the middle of nowhere. it's clean, the rooms are nice & the owners are friendly & non judgmental. I look forward to having a great place to stay while in the area.

Very nice and clean hotel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was also very good. Overall, it's a very nice hotel and would stay here again!

I recently stayed at the best value inn, in Seymour Mo. I was on my Motorcycle and was stranded there for a few days because of a snow and Ice storm that hit.
After the storm had passed I tried to start my Motorcycle but it had frozen choke cable and would not start, the Manager came to my rescue and ran a extension cord out one of the rooms windows to where my bike was, it came up a bit short, so he offered to push my bike so we could get closer to the Extension Cord, then he brought out a Hair dryer so I could use that to unthaw the choke cable after a few minutes the choke was freed up and the Bike started right up.
All I can say is that this management couple were very helpful, and instead of just standing there and offering no help, they immediately came to my Rescue.

Hats off to them, I would recommend this as a very good place to stay if your in this area.

I would recommend. Newly remodeled, clean, spacious rooms, WiFi, with a real breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc) for around $80. Coffeemaker, mini fridge, microwave, tv.

This hotel is good for the price it is. Everyone is nice. Sometimes it's hard to get people to the front desk but all in all a great experience. Will come back again
