Shetler's Discount Grocery

Good produce, good people, great deals on staple foods, bulk products also. Feed a big family wisely by shopping here. I probably cut the grocery bill in half because of the deals at Shetlers.

Great place for bargains, but their stock changes daily. Hardly ever have the same thing twice in a row.

You can call ahead if there’s something in mind that you need, to check availability. They have never lead me astray. Shetlers is awesome.

Love this place. Prices are outstanding. Stock is always changing so you never know what you'll find but the price will be great.

Great place to buy an assortment of discounted and bulk items. They carry everything from shelf stable goods to produce, meat and dairy. Staff are sweet and helpful.

Prices of food have gone up, just as they have everywhere else.
Disapointed Shelters charges very high prices for allergy items: gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.
When I shop Mama Jeans in Springfield, I often find the same gluten-free or dairy-free products priced the same or little less.
Since Shelters sells most products expired, dented, taped up- I think the prices should reflect this across the board.
I do not complete my main shopping here anymore, but I do find good deals occasionally. Sometimes a good deal is a product in bulk I frequently use, that I couldn't get anywhere else in bulk- but per oz or per lb cost is the same as if purchased in smaller individual packaging.
Although not the "main" store, I can tell the owner tries to keep an eye on Hwy C location and it is appreciated.

Their staff is always very friendly and helpful. A lot of their dry goods and canned goods are expired, but not to the extent where the quality or flavor are affected. I've found some AMAZING deals on meats, cheese, and frozen products. Shopping here allows me to feed my family like royalty, even on a small budget! LOVE LOVE LOVE SHETLER'S !!! 😍😍😍

Best grocery store in a 30-mile radius.

Great selection of products at super prices. Many local products. Worth making a special trip for. Always remember to bring a cooler! They are going to be moving into a new facility sometime soon, near the present location.

Good prices on discount items. Bulk feed, and locally grown produce.

Got lots of good bargains today. Chobani yogurts 99cents a 4 pack, flips yogurts almond coco loco flavor 99 cents a 4 pack and some really good wavy frozen potato chips for the air fryer. Yum

Great place, great prices! I love finding unexpected items here! Some foods are past date, but still safe and good tasting. They also have vitamins, spices, fresh produce, refrigerated and frozen foods. They sell many items in bulk. They have some baked goods and things made by locals.

This is my second favorite Shelter's store. The one in Cabool is the best, especially because of their fresh meats. The Shelter's store in Mountain Grove on MO-95 North sells non-foods only.

Been shopping here for 10 years, always a great experience. Watch what you buy and the prices of it and you will find some amazing deals!

If you want to save about 50% on your grocery bill and don't mind a few dings and dents, then this is a great place to shop. The people are not as friendly as I would like but they aren't mean just a bit reserved I would say. But the shelves are easy to shop. You never know what kind of goodies you will find.

This store is great so long as you don't worry about expiration dates, which isn't all its cracked up to be to start with. Just one way of them trying to control everything in our lives. They have a wide variety of grocery food. From canned to frozen. They stand behind everything they sell and you can't beat the prices. With the Wal-Mart's selling deli sliced roast beef at almost $15.00 a pound you can get it here for under ten dollars a pound, but then you slice it. Doesn't matter to us, we have a slicer for such occasions.

We had a lot of fun shopping there. It's not a regular grocery store. This is a discount store, so please don't expect to find everything. But it's a great little store for things like salad dressing, frozen foods and bulk foods.
