I have been a client of Matthew's for over 12 years. During this time I have changed my hairstyle many times and done color treatments. Matthew keeps my look relevant and takes the time to understand what I want. He does not promise what he cannot deliver and he works hard to deliver on his promises. Matthew is truly committed to making his clients look great.

I've been one of Matthew's clients for almost a decade and I consistently get compliments on my haircuts! They look great when he's finished, and they still look great 8 weeks later; this is not normal for guys' cuts. I'd much rather have one great cut that lasts and evolves than two mediocre cuts.

Equally important is Matthew's consistently professional and friendly nature - he's genuine, thoughtful, funny, and easy to talk to. It's impossible to walk out of his studio without feeling better about everything. I'm lucky to have found him.

I love going to Matthew for a trim or completely new style. He always starts an appointment talking about what I’d like to do, what my typical routine is, and how I’d like my hair to be. Then he’ll offer input for what might work better or different. Along the way, he takes moments to show me tips for styling. Every part of the experience is thoughtful, and I love that he goes the extra step. Matthew is the best and I love every time I’m in his chair.

The reason Matthew is so very good is that he is dedicated to his craft, technique, and he listens so carefully to his clients. He zeroes in on their needs, issues, wants and helps diagnose the best way to get there. I appreciate he is always on the front edge of hair technology but NEVER pushes product. Instead he educates and informs and allows the customer to make their own choice. He is honest, straightforward and just a sweet, thoughtful person all around. He has years of experience and perspective which contributes to his professionalism and strengths as a stylist.

Matthew's the best! Besides me, he knows my head better than anyone. We've been through it all, through thick and thin hair. I've seen Matthew for several years and have followed him to his new salon. He's an expert at his craft and I respect his drive to serve his clients. A great conversationalist, I always look forward to my next cut!

Matthew is the best! Having a hair stylist that listens to you means so much, and he really does pay attention. We start every appointment with an in depth conversation about what’s working or isn’t, I always feel like he takes my hair needs seriously and gives thoughtful consideration to my concerns. A true professional who takes his work seriously, he is always keeping up with new products, trends and science in the hair care world, which I appreciate. His experience in the field is apparent. That said, he’s also fun to talk to and doesn’t take himself too seriously so it makes the time in the chair enjoyable to boot. Matthew has been cutting/coloring my hair for close to ten years now. It’s always a relaxing experience with exceptional/individualized service. I never feel rushed and most importantly I am always pleased with the results!

Matthew is an artist, capable of giving every person the perfect cut and color for them. He truly puts the custom in customer. The experience is relaxed, enjoyable and transformative.

Had an emergency in that current person was ill and couldn’t keep appointments so had to scramble as I was beginning to look like, well, chewbacca🤣 so First time with Matthew and he is superb at cutting and designing. I went in for a cut and color on a recommendation from a friend and I was very pleased with the quality of the color. Matthew asked my input on the color and almost 1.5 months later the color is holding only showing my grays growing and not fading from them.
