My husband and I were in Franklin for the week and were lucky enough to eat here twice. Once for lunch and second for breakfast. Let me tell you, their slaw dog was on point and their corned beef hash was delicious! My husband loved the country ham biscuit! You also feel like a part of their family the moment you walk in. We will def be back!!! This place deserves all the 5 stars!

Great place to eat!! Never ever had a bad meal at all here. My wife and I try to eat here at least once a week. I had been eating lunch here for a while then one Friday night I asked my wife if she would like to go there for a burger. Well that started an every Friday night thing that we both look forward to. Sure sometimes you might have to wait a minute but hey that’s a sign of good food and not a big deal. Right when you walk in all and I mean all the staff are nothing but friendly!!! I don’t know at the times after enjoying our meal and walk out my wife has said they make you feel like they have known you all your life. If you’ve never eaten here you should go treat yourself to a great meal and friendly staff. And the prices are cheaper than eating at a fast food place. All around good place!!!!

Cute little mom and pop restaurant. Good food. Fast service with a smile( something you don’t see much of these days) . Excellent prices. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Thank you staff for a great experience

We loved eating here! The food is great and you get so much of it, and the staff is truly wonderful, made you feel at home. Don’t forget to get a slice of pie, you’ll regret it!

My family and I decided to stop here on a whim as we were passing through town and it was such a great experience! The food was FANTASTIC and the staff could not have been nicer. Everything we had was great. I highly recommend adding bacon to your cheeseburger - it was crispy and absolutely delicious!

Such a little hometown restaurant with amazing food and service! The servers were the sweetest and most attentive ladies and full of smiles. The food is fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant. The locals are friendly and and make you feel like family. Fabulous place to eat!

Consistently amazing home-cooked food. The meatloaf tastes just like my grandmother's, the mashed potatoes are buttery goodness, and the biscuits are always yummy. I've eaten there half a dozen times or so over the past couple of months and the food is *always* good. The service is always friendly and prompt. Cannot recommend this gem enough!

What a cool little place it is so small and packed the waitress meets you outside and will let you know when you can go in or just wait outside for carryout. Drive thru carry out is as simple as beeping the horn in front of the entrance and someone will come out. We went there to get chili and were not disappointed it was good. We also had catfish which was cooked to perfection. Not a bad little restaurant with home cooked meals. Oh and we got a couple cheeseburgers which were just what you would expect from a family restaurant. This place has to be a local favorite.

Fantastic breakfast!! We will be back next time we are in town. It was yummy!! Homemade biscuits and gravy!! Very reasonable!!I don’t know how they manage to keep the prices so reasonable. It’s gonna be our go to breakfast place when we are driving through this area!

I don't normally give 5 stars, but everything was great. All the food was hot and delicious, had roast beef with mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, spiced apples and Texas toast. I give a round of applause to the kitchen staff for a great job! The wait staff was great too, friendly and efficient. Place was clean. Recommend highly.

This is a quant little gem tucked away in a strip that we lucked upon. So small you had to wait outside for a table and each meal was cooked as ordered. mostly locals. The BEST breakfast I have had cooked for me at a restaurant. I order traditionally 2 eggs over medium with crispy bacon and hash browns well. PERFECTLY COOKED! Thanks for wonderful breakfast to start my day. IF I had planned to stay in the area I definitely would have eaten here again.

Very friendly Mom and Pop diner. Kountry Kitchen was closing when we arrived and the owner was nice enough to recommend Ms Lois'. It's refreshing to sit down and enjoy a home cooked style meal that's not from a fast food chain.

This place is fabulous!! The waitresses are so nice and accommodating. We were a party of 9 and they took great care of us!! The food was delicious as well! I will return.

This is an awesome little restaurant that we visited while on vacation in Franklin. We ordered our food to go and I’m glad that we did. They have a very small dining room and there is nothing wrong with that. I personally just don’t like to be too crowded when I’m out to dinner. They do have a nice large outside dining area, which was very roomy. The workers gave us excellent service and the food was delicious. We will definitely eat here again when we are back in Franklin.

Nice surprise coming down the mountain. You must try the meatloaf. If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place for you.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Good old fashioned home cooking. Come hungry. Portions are ample. Be prepared to wait, but well worth it.

This has to be the best place to eat in Franklin North Carolina. I would eat here every meal if I could. The best home cooked meals ever!

Local restaurant. Very busy but food was really good.

Yankees just won't get this place. Neither is this your standard "meat & two" diner. This place is as close to gourmet as a small town cafe can get. Daily specials and a list of 15 vegetables all cooked to perfection. I had the fried catfish from the regular menu... which was cooked to perfection and served piping hot. Homemade biscuits and cornbread, with butter on the table and honey by request. The tea was excellent. The booth was spacious and clean. The service was quick, friendly and helpful. The restrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen. Easy access. Generous free parking. I'm going back !!

Gone by there twice lately during posted business hours but they're closed. Disappointed... We love Mrs Lois's. It's fall leaf season and tourists are piling through town. Why are y'all closed? We went to MI CASA... Sorry y'all. Hope you're okay.
