Gracious Plates on Main

We went here on Friday and loved it. I got the sampler plate and my husband got the lamb meatballs. We don't have huge appetites so we ordered small plates, but we did save room the lemon layer cake to share (and bring some home!). It was delicious and different. The menu features local produce - for example the sampler plate had cute color-variety carrots, chard, yellow and red beets, watermelon radishes, and I forget what else. The manager/owner (not sure) stopped by ever table to ask how things were going. We will definitely be back, as we told her, to wear it out! We tend to keep going back to interesting places until we've worked thru the menu at least once.

A friend of mine who happens to be from Franklin, NC invited me on a weekend outing to visit his hometown. He decided to take me to Gracious Plates. We both tried the salad (picture attached) but with different protein options. The salad was FRESH AND DELICIOUS!! Had the right balance of flavors from all the ingredients within. I also had a cocktail with contained Ginger Beer and Captain Morgan’s Spiced Rum- tasty!
The hostess and waitress were very friendly and attentive to our needs as customers. And the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing, weekend get-a-way! I highly recommend 100%.
I’ll definitely be back with my friend in a couple of months.

We’ve been coming to Franklin for 6 years for our winter getaway from Florida. This was our first time eating here. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff made us feel like we were the only ones there. Our waitress was Angela and she seemed to be able to know what we needed before we even asked. She explained a few things off the menu for us.
The menu itself made us feel like we were in New York or another metropolitan area but, unlike most of those, everything on the menu was from local farmers.

Such a special farm to table experience in a charming small town!! I wish there were more restaurants like this one! Serve is always spectacular. They have so many seasonal specials and a great regular menu too. I’ve been a few times when we’re in the area and love it!

OMG!! Talking about a wonderful experience. My family and I stumbled across this place while look for Drake Technology Center. We met Shelby our waitress that was wonderful. She gave us an excellent experience as well as giving great suggestions. Her presentation was wonderful, the food was great, and the atmosphere was warming. Thanks for the experience💗💗 We all had pasta with different meats, flatbread and a 3 layer lemon cake that was shareable for 6 people 😄😄Very pleased with our experience.

First time and very impressed! The fried green tomatoes are the best I’ve had and each of our meals was from fresh ingredients and full of flavor! The cocktails did not disappoint, also very flavorful and delicious. Madison was attentive, very pleasant and efficient. She was friendly, greeted us with a smile and very helpful in our selections! The manager greeted us, showed us to a booth, and later stopped by to ask how everything was, showing he cared and wanted us to enjoy our time at Gracious Plates.
We will be back!

My husband and I were in Franklin for the week and ate here twice because it was so good! Their grit cake is probably one of the best things we’ve ever ate. The service was great and their small plates are fantastic. If you pop in, get the pickle-tini, grit cake, meatballs and tuna bites- trust me!!! We would drive from Gwinnett County back just to eat here again!

This is the BEST restaurant in Franklin, NC! Ate here for the first time based on reviews while visiting from Highlands, NC. Sienna, the owner was so lovely in all aspects of hospitality. Victoria was our server who was so knowledgeable about the menu as there were so many delectable options! She provided excellent service and we told her we would be back for sure! And hats off to the chef for such an amazing brunch ! Just take a look at these photos 🤩

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The food is incredible, not only the taste but the presentation and quality of the food itself. The service and atmosphere are great too. Can't wait to go back❤

I love that Gracious Plates is open on Sunday and they serve a fantastic brunch! Tried the smothered today and it was amazing! If you haven’t tried it, highly recommend! Fried grit cake stacked with eggs, bacon and smothered with truffle fondue! Faith is the best, very outgoing and friendly, all their staff is great! Shout out to the kitchen staff for consistently serving excellent food! See you next week!

I usually love this restaurant.
However, I ordered the special lobster roll.
It tasted like tuna fish on a toasted bun.
I was not happy at all, my friend ordered the same. We both let our server know with no concessions.
I took mine home after 3 bites.
Hers went back to the kitchen un- eaten .
The appetizers we ordered were outstanding.

We went on a Tuesday, hostesses were friendly and sat us pretty quickly for not having a reservation (recommend making a reservation on any night you go so you don't have to wait). Our server Victoria was exceptional. The 1/2 a chicken we highly recommend "best chicken were ever had", moist, juicy and flavourful. The kitchen first "sous vide", than finishes it once you order it. Great job kitchen. My scallops were tender and delicious but the white wine sauce on the pasta needs some tweaking. Finished with a flourless chocolate torte, yum. Thanks for a delicious meal, great service and a friendly atmosphere.

Perfection! I’ve been dining out every meal while travelling through North Carolina and this has been my favourite restaurant. My experience will definitely leave a lasting impression. I usually just order an entree as I don’t have a large appetite, but could resist getting 2 appetizers, an entree, and dessert 😁 The lamb meatballs and tempura mushrooms to start were phenomenal. The sautéed salmon was absolutely mouthwatering, and the cannolis are to die for. The waitress was very helpful, bubbly, and polite. I hope to visit again from Ontario Canada.

This was our first time trying Gracious Plates in Franklin NC.The food selection is wonderful and well presented, and it tasted wonderful as well. We were a little afraid of the truffle cheese fondue, but they did not overdo the truffle, and it was perfect. Above all, the service was premium. We really like to have a server who notices when we need a refill and checks back with us at proper times during our meal.

The food is awesome and the menu is diverse for your mood of the day. Excellent pour choices and the coffee is perfect. My wife is allergic to gluten and she had no problems.
Any menu item is recommended!

Great experience! The waiter was great and knowledgeable with the menu. The food was of the highest quality and being a chef myself, I love the care they did for the food. Excellent job and coming back soon for more!

Lunch yesterday was amazing! We had a party of 6 adults and 3 kids. Emily was amazing and accommodated seating as well as checked in throughout our time there. Emily, our waitress, was very attentive and answered any questions we had with a smile. All of our small plates and lunch meals were tasty, and the presentation was beautiful.

Fantastic food and service. Large portions with something for almost everyone. Appetizers are so good, order two and call it dinner. Friendly and quick servers. Great addition to downtown.
Interior could use a little updating. (The turquoise should go)

My husband and I booked a reservation here and it far exceeded our expectations! We weren’t even that hungry but we were practically licking the plate when we were done haha! It was absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back when we visit again!
