WakeMed Primary Care - Brier Creek

Ashley Welch PA is so compassionate, gentle and caring. I’m new to the area and just so happened to meet Ashley during a hospital follow up visit. Her bedside manner is exceptional and you can tell she genuinely cares for her patients. She is also an excellent patient advocate, I will be sticking with Ashley as long as I can. Yes, Ashley is a PA but that does not change the fact that she’s an excellent/knowledgeable provider.
Wakemed system as whole:
To be completely honest, I don’t like the WakeMed system because it’s so congested and you can get lost in translation if you do not stick up for yourself. I only continue to go to the PCP because of all of the staff in this specific office. I’ve also seen doctor Won, who is also very pleasant.

I have been going to this office for a few years, even before they moved to this location. Dr. Erickson is a phenomenal doctor. She is a holistic care provider who takes her time and really listens to your needs as a patient. I also see Dr. Holley as well. Dr Holley is very thorough, and knowledgeable. He has a pleasant personality and is very professional. I have read the other reviews here and felt the need to share my positive experiences. I have also have very positive interactions with the office staff. I am very pleased with my experiences here.

Dr. Messer has been an excellent physician overseeing my care. She has never made me feel rushed and has been very detailed and caring in her review and discussion of my health each time I come in for a check up. Because of her warmth, compassion and skill, I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I have been with Dr. Chenna since 2018. This was my second visit to her. She is very friendly and explained me each and every point. Communication with her through MyChart is so easy. The team were so quick in transferring messages to the doctor. She gives you time to share your health issues if you have any, then she will give you good suggestion which actually works.

I will highly recommend her with my friends and family. Thank you WakeMed!

Can't say enough about WakeMed primary care. It took me a while to find the right practice when I moved here and after a few wrong turns, I finally found a great place. All staff are welcoming, professional and compassionate. My provider, Tish Barbaro is the absolute best. I've had to be referred to several specialists and the experience has been great, including trying to find the right "match" for me in addition to just the expertise. Highly recommend!

I have always received the very best care from Dr. Rosa Messer. She has been my primary care physician since I moved to North Carolina. Her follow up on my progress via My Chart is punctual and thorough. She refers me to specialists when needed and follows up on my visits.

This is my primary care doctor location and Dr. Solanki is wonderful. It's nice and close to the house and their communication is great through their web portal. There is plenty of parking and you can either take a quick run up the steps or the elevators.

I was feeling like I was definitely getting sick and it was a Friday. I didn't want to be miserable all weekend so I made an appointment. I saw Jason Mitchell at the Brier Creek office. My family all love him so, I decided to try him. He was amazing. He was so nice and took extra time with me to make sure he covered all my symptoms. And did I mention that it was a Friday late afternoon. I actually felt better walking out. I was feeling better that night. I would highly recommend seeing Jason Mitchell.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rosa Messer since 2007. She is a caring and very attentive Doctor. She not only cares about your body, she cares about your mindset. When I arrived in Raleigh, NC from Washington, DC, I prayed that God guide me to a doctor that is compassionate and cares about what he/she does for a living. Dr. Messer is all of that, plus some.
Kudos to all of the WakeMed staff. You all are great!!!!

Dr Messer is 1 in a million. No matter if it’s physically or mentally she gives you that feeling of ,I’m here and I care. In 2008 my mom was admitted to a nursing home and I was really having a rough time emotionally. I discussed it with her. The shoulder,the time,the advice is what Dr Messer gave to me that day. God has his Angles every where and he had Dr Messer for me that day. The entire staff at Biar creek is awesome.

The Applewhite family has been receiving primary care from doctor Samuel Wesonga for over 20 years. He is an excellent physician that provides high quality care. The staff at this location are also very professional and attentive. We highly recommend the primary care services here.

Dr. Solanky is the best doctor ever. She is knowledgeable and she cares about you and your health. Our whole family has her as our primary physician. I recommend her 100%!!

Dr. Holly is friendly and personal. He listens to concerns and provides multiple options for care, with a focus on diet, exercise, and all-around health, rather than just medicating to the test results. Correspondence between appointments is responsive and thoughtful through MyChart.

Dr. Solanki is wonderful! She is the best PCP I've had as an adult. She is thorough in her exams, and personable at the bedside. She is a provider who is definitely in this field for the right reasons!

My experience with Dr. Chenna was very positive. She listened to all I was saying and asked lots of questions. I found her to be very knowledgeable and professional. I found her to be much better than the PA I saw at Duke Medicine.

Dr. John Holly provides exceptional medical service. I have been his patient for 12 years with great follow up and medical support. Highly recommend him.
