10/10 recommend! Dr Jessica and tech Megan called for our little guy Nico. They were very gentle and loving and Dr Jessica knew so much about rabbits! She saved our bunny! I was shocked when we got our bill and couldn’t believe how affordable our visit was! Thank you both for taking care of our boy!

I've brought both my dogs here and have been very happy with their level of detail, compassion, timeliness and knowledge. I have an older dachshund with an assortment of issues and they've been a godsend for keeping her healthy for as long as they have. Due to her issues, there have been a few unexpected visits and we weren't able to get the same vet each time, but they've all been wonderful to work with and treat my girls like they've known them their whole lives.

We are moving to AZ and our dog has Lyme's disease. We had started his meds a couple weeks before we left but his meds accidentally got packed and we wouldn't have had access to them for several days. It was an emergency to get more pills the day we were starting our three day drive. Wausau AH quickly got us more meds in a timely manner. I am so grateful to them for all the excellent care they have given our dogs. The nurses are gentle, kind, and skilled and the doctors are as well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will miss you.

I had my dog in yesterday for his annual check and the staff are so friendly and professional. He actually likes going to the vet!

Having just gotten a rescue dog from Texas we went looking for a new vet for our buddy. We thought we’d give the Wausau animal hospital a call. It was a good decision! The dr is so caring and knowledgeable and so willing to give you the information you need to make good decisions for your pet. A definite five star

Love this vet! All the staff are very friendly and take great care of our dogs. They are very thorough and always take the time to make sure all of my questions are answered. The call when you arrive and wait in car system is great. It makes it so much easier for myself and my dogs when they have an appointment instead of a waiting room.

Just took my dog there she's barely one-year-old. they were amazing make sure there was no other dogs because she has high anxiety with other dogs. Everyone that worked there was amazing including the vet. You can tell they care about what they do. This will be the only vet that we will take our dog and any other future pet we get.

They have a great system for pet intake that eliminates waiting room incidents with other pets. We wait in the car till they call and tell us to come in. So when we walk in the area, my small dog is not getting nervous or afraid of other animals. The vet assistant was kind and understanding of my dogs vet anxiety. The vet was very thorough in her exam and took plenty of time to answer all my questions. She offered tips on helping my dog age happily and safely. And she offered optional blood testing to establish baseline results for future comparison. The standard immunizations were done skillfully without a whimper from my dog. There really are no criticisms of this business' services or personnel. Excellent.

Wonderful Drs and staff, highly recommend for anyone looking for quality care for their fur babies

First of all, it's tough to find anyone who will even see and are competent at dealing with pet rats, never mind operating on one. My little guy developed a very aggressive tumor that nearly weighed as much as another rat. Although the surgery didn't end the way I hoped, Doctors and staff were communicative and compassionate. I appreciate what you all do and how you treat your customers and patients.

They were amazing when Wrinkles passed away several years ago. They were so kind to him and ya as we said goodbye. Happy to bring our new dog to them again.

My cat had a Dental which was a new experience to me as a cat-owner then previously before. I was nervous about cost, but the ending result came well within the estimate this facility gave me. So far, I have meet wonderful employees both in person and on the phone. The doctor let me be in charge of making informed and educated choices about my pet's well-being. Overall, I have had great experiences here and I am happy I chose WAH.

My cat wasn't acting like herself and hiding in the corner of the closet. I called and same day appointment was setup. Dr Melissa is super nice, caring and very compassionate. Due to the extent of my cat's issues this lead to an x-ray, Senior Panel blood workup, IV, etc. It was about a 2 hr visit. My cat is Home taking her medicines and sleeping comfortably.

The team at this vet is the best! Our pug has several health issues and since she was a puppy they have been so sweet with her and very understanding and informative with us dog parents. The doctors are excellent and all supportive staff work with perfessionalism and compassion. We wouldn't take our pets anywhere else!

The vets, and staff here are so friendly! If you’re on a budget they’ll work with you to get the best results possible that fits your budget. If you’re unsure of something they’ll walk you through everything. If you’ve got a nervous pet everyone will work together to make them feel safe, and comfortable. Kana (my little pit) adores them! Keep up the amazing job!

A great veterinary clinic with a PAWesome staff! I take all of my cats here, and the doctor along with her assistants are always to greet you and your furry friend with a smile. They're all very informative about what they are doing and are upfront about costs. I feel confident in knowing I can rely on Wausau Animal Hospital to take good care of my furry family!
