We visited Lake Norman Marina last summer and was greeted with kindness. We could have gone elsewhere but the professionalism and genuine hospitality brought us back. The team is very knowledgeable, hospitable and really considered our needs. We truly enjoyed working with everyone and our salesperson Peter Ehart is the best! We feel “at home” with the staff and the service is simply wonderful. Relationships matter - and we trust Lake Norman Marina! We had a great boat buying experience with both. Chris is our salesman and Jason in the financial department. Both were very helpful. Made a lot of magic happen for us. We shopped around for a very long time and they gave us the best deal of any other dealership that we were dealing with in the area of Lake Norman, they will work with you to get you the price that you want. We had to schedule a test run on the boats weeks in advance. They took us out on both boats that we wanted to test drive the day we walked in to work with great experience happy we can go out surfing today.

First time buyer at Lake Norman Marina and what a great experience. From start to end Palmer and Jason took care of me and my family! Even delivered my boat to me after it was detailed. By far the best buying experience I’ve ever had. I will definitely be a repeat customer to Lake Norman Marina!!

We worked with Peter to find and purchase a used (but practically new) boat. Peter stayed in contact with me when options were available and it allowed me to find a boat that is exactly what I wanted. We looked at new options in our price range as well, but kept coming back the 2018 Bennington 23 RSFB with a 300 yahama on it as our best option. I have been servicing my older Bennington with LKN Marina for a few years and new that i wanted to give my business to them when i bought a boat. We looked at other bands around the LKN area, but Bennington just has the best product on the market. The fit and finish of the Bennington brand is just what our family wanted and needed.

The closing process with Jason was quick and easy, which also made the buy process enjoyable.

I took delivery of the third boat we have purchased from Lake Norman Marina a couple weeks ago. I sat down with Logan Kale in January to order a Cobalt R8. Boat arrived mid April as promised and we took delivery a week later. Logan presented me with a very fair price, Palmer Furr took over when the boat arrived to set up delivery, and Jason Snelgrove handled the finance options and other options available on the new boat. The employees at Lake Norman Marina are honest, sincere, and really care about your experience. I would highly recommend if you are in the market for a boat, or need service on the one you own!

Recently purchased a new pontoon boat from Lake Norman Marina. The experience could not have been better. Palmer was extremely knowledgeable and helpful explaining every aspect of various boats and options. Jason made the purchase process as smooth and easy as possible. Alway willing to assist with getting the boat in the water and getting gas when needed. Great team always there to help when you are returning from a day on the lake and putting the boat away.

Seconds after Chris Tyrolt answered my call to Lake Norman Marina, I knew that there was a true professional on the other end of the phone line. Yes, as a 74-year-old I still use often use a hard line, and after that many trips around the sun I have experienced every level of customer service imaginable. I am at times an impatient and crusty old guy who simply doesn't tartrate ineptitude or lack of attention to detail. By now you should have guessed that Chris and the staff at Lake Norman Marina provided the best buying experience that I can ever recall having.
That is a big statement, but they earner it.

After close to a nine-hour drive from Ohio to the dealership my wife and I were so very pleased to be welcomed like regular old customer who have spent hundreds of thousands on boats over the years. Arriving two days before our Monday scheduled appointment, our sales person met us on Saturday afternoon, walked us around the grounds to find the used boat of interest, explained what had been serviced with the boat and told us that he had personally ran the boat around the lake for half an hour and that everything was in excellent condition.

I could go on and on, I suppose, but I'll just add a little credibility to this "rating." As a young man I managed a John Deere tractor dealership and concluded my working career as a senior vice president of a manufacturer whose specialized construction equipment is found around the world, often in remote areas. Along that pathway I was responsible for world-wide service. My wife owned a retail business for over 30 years. We know service.

Finally, it is important that our superb buying experience without the business culture of the marina which can only be a tribute to the Kale family, owners for 50 years, this year! We met the third generation Logan Kale and it's easy to see why, from Chris in sales to the Kale family, the business is triple A top shelf.

Outstanding experience buying a pre owned Cobalt R7 from Lake Norman Marina. This was a first class experience from beginning to end. Palmer was an extremely attentive and knowledgeable sales rep and very, very responsive via text, email, and phone before, during, most importantly, after the sale. Jason in finance was top notch as well, and David’s expertise during the sea trial was greatly appreciated. The most notable thing I can say about the LNM experience was that as I shook Palmer’s hand to make the 5 hour trip back to Virginia, he stated if any issues came up with the boat they would take care of it and at this price point they were not going to send me out of the door with a “ you are on your own” handshake. Well I can emphatically state LNM made good on their promise when we had some issues come up on the first weekend. Palmer and Randall, the service manager, coordinated to get the boat picked up the next day—10–hour round trip, repaired and sea trialed, and returned to me within a week, another 10 hour round trip, all FREE OF CHARGE. So when I say that Lake Norman Marina is a first class operation from A-Z, I really mean it. To all of the professionals at this establishment, my family and I say thank you!!

My wife and I purchased our first boat ever from Lake Norman Marina in February 2024. We purchased a 2023 Bennington LSR from Peter Ehart. We could not be happier with the overall experience. We looked at three other boat dealerships and it was a very easy decision to go with LNM. From the quality of the boats, to Peter, to Jason(finance manager), to David out at the docks, to the overall appearance of the entire facility. The appearance of the facility, along with the many other positive attributes mentioned, was key in our decision making. Being new to boating, LNM continues to answer our questions and provide great suggestions from taking care of our boat, to having memorable experiences out on the lake. I drove 10 hours to see a nice used Cobalt R5 at LNM. The experience was fantastic. Salesman- Palmer Furr was knowledgeable, professional and he knew the boat history.
It was priced fairly and the red carpet treatment will never get old.
