Cook Out

Love this cookout. This is my local cookout. Every time I come here the people are always nice and the food comes out quick and hot.

Came here with my family for lunch last Saturday and the service was phenomenal, food was fresh and came out quickly. Restaurant was clean

Busy location but one of the quickest too!

Some of my takeout orders are for my picky family and are difficult to handle I’m sure but this location does it!

No onions, no cheese, extra pineapple, no mayonnaise, and BAM they do it and FAST and they handle with a smile!

Yes this is a chain. You ever seen an instance where a certain location of a chain is better than lots of other locations?
Sure you have and this is the Denver NC location that will serve you better quality and quantities!

The employees always rush me through my order, they need to slow down a bit... the food is awesome though.

Food was good. Order was right and drive thru line moved pretty quick.

When I come down here, I always get a milk shake. Can't beat 40 flavors... I haven't tried all of them yet, but I'll get there. I have had a few of their plates, and they were good too

I’ve been to this location twice and both times a really sweet blonde girl took my order. My receipt says her name was Bailey, but as a restaurant worker, I know the name doesn’t always match the person. If that really is her name, Bailey deserves a huge raise and any employee award there is. Typically cookout workers are rude and unkind, but she is the only cookout worker from any location I’ve ever met to seem to take pride in her job. She says “my pleasure” after finishing each order, so maybe she used to work at a Chick-fil-A, but either way she is awesome. I know it’s hard to be nice to customers especially at a place like cookout, when almost every customer is a redneck, arrogant teenager, but she manages to do it. Even though cookout isn’t always the fastest, especially at night, and doesn’t have totally amazing food, her service makes me want to go back for more. Seriously cookout, give her a raise.

This cookout fell off for years, but now it is back to its former glory. The staff are all professional and accommodating. My favorites; the chicken quesadilla + bbq sandwich have been great everytime. This is once again my fave fast food spot in Denver

This is the first cook out that I have been to that they got my order correct. The food taste so different but a good different. The service was very polite and respectful, and the atmosphere had the fun family vibe to it

My burger was literally made to perfection! Hot, fresh, and had all the the toppings I requested correctly. It was delicious! Oh & the staff are so jolly! Even through the drive-thru speaker you can hear how happy their personalities are and that they love their job! Love coming to places like this where the food AND the staff are great! Keep up the good work crew!

It's always great for a quick bite when you want something better than mcdonalds but aren't dressed for fancy dining. Haha

Always love the food. Grilled chicken sandwich with hush puppies. Bam...perfect late night snack.

The food at any cookout we patron is always delicious.

The Cajon chicken sandwich is my goto tray with a side of fries and a chicken ranch roll up. Still a good value even though the prices have crept up a bit.

I just love the cookout! It is one of my favorite restaurants and my favorite place to get milkshakes! They have over 40 flavors but I still get the peanut butter fudge because it is the best milkshake that you will ever have. My only complaint is the lines can be very long, they need to update the locations so they all have double drive through systems, like chick fil a and McDonald's.

I've enjoyed every Cookout around us here in NC. Food is always hot and fresh. Great milk shakes as well. Even at all the different ones we've eaten at the employees are friendly.

Love eating here with my grandchildren. We live in Mount Holly and are closer to the one in Gastonia but we prefer this one in Denver because we are able to dine inside.

For fast food, you really can't get better than Cook Out. I live in another state, so we don't have Cook Out there, and every time I come to visit family up here in NC, I can't wait to go to this Cook Out. The food tastes like actual food, really, and it's MUCH cheaper than other fast food places. Compared to other fast food, that tastes like pre-fab made-from-frozen mass produced junk, Cook Out actually tastes like food from a backyard barbeque at your neighbor's or something. The burgers are great and fresh. The pulled pork sandwich is my favorite. The hush puppies are a must, and the fries are great, but the cajun fries are way better. The shakes are great as well, I've had a couple different ones and they're all good.
The *only* complaints I have about this location is that sometimes the lines are extremely long and slow - I think it's partially because they seem to be understaffed, and the employees seem to be having to do too much work per person, at some of my visits, I felt really bad for the employees because it would be like, just two of them trying to run the whole place.
And their speaker system (or really, the headsets that go with it) at the drive-thru doesn't work very - every time I've been here, the order-taker can't hear very well because of some kind of issue with the headsets, it seems.
But yeah, the customer service is still pretty good most of the time, most of the people that work there are quite friendly.
So, if you're looking for something fast, cheap, and delicious, this Cook Out is the place to go.
