Publix Super Market at Market Square

I was pleasantly surprised to be acknowledged and greeted with a smile by every employee I ran into throughout the store. Big kudos. It felt genuine. You can hardly find that anywhere anymore. I will be returning based off this premise alone.

All sorts of competition here, there is a Harris Teeter a hundred yards away and Lowes Foods across the street. That's probably why my shop today was extra nice on top of the usual positive experience at Publix.

Deli, bakery, frozen, seafood. All well stocked and tidy. The store is clean and well lit. The young lady who rang up and bagged my purchase was pleasant and efficient.

I ordered a cake from another Publix and 10 minutes after picking it up I ruined it. I called the Publix I ordered from and went by another Publix, but neither one could help me. I called this specific one that I DIDN’T buy the cake from and they told me to come in and they would try their best to help. The manager Robert stepped in and fixed the cake the best he could without charging me. Thank you so much Robert for saving my nieces 16th Birthday!

I used to think "Where shopping is a pleasure" was a bit cheesy. But nah. Publix Market Square is that - a pleasurable place to shop. Everyone has been helpful if I needed anything from fresh sushi to a specific deli meat to a fresh loaf of bread, and of course, a Publix sub.

Recently I needed to verify if there was any stock left for a specific BOGO they were having, so I went to the front desk and waited while an employee checked for me. The item wasn't in stock so I thanked him for his time and left (it was a younger dark-haired gentlemen with glasses whose name escapes me). As I was walking out, this young man literally chased me into the parking lot to hand me a raincheck on the deal. Such a small act of kindness, but it's something that will keep me shopping at this store for as long as I live in Huntersville.

On top of that, the gentlemen preparing the sushi always offers to make me a fresh spicy salmon roll when I come in, since I always manage to show up after the lunch rush has ended.

It's the little things, ya know? Ample parking, quick checkout, good prices (increasingly better than the prices at the competitor next door), good associates, and they keep lots of those smaller shopping carts on hand, which is always a plus. Great place to shop!

We forgot to grab a few things for thanksgiving dinner so tonight, the night before, we go in 10 minutes before they close. I hate being that guy. We got done a little after they closed. EVERYONE was so nice and didn't even mind! As I'm walking out the manager asks how our night has been and hands us two free pies!!! I've never had a negative experience here!

Old: CJ is definitely the Sandwich King. Found out my man is out of Jersey. That explains the perfection with my wrap. Love the way he pays attention to detail. Keeps me healthy with these vegetable packed spinach and wheat wraps. My $10 meal couldn’t be better. Way to go Publix! Thanks again CJ!!

Robert the store manager saved our day. Our key went down the drain. Robert in 10 minutes with a homemade fish metal recovered our car keys. Unbelievable store manager. Fantastic 😊

Good supermarket that stocks a lot of products my other local supermarket doesn’t. They have a really impressive deli counter offering some fantastic subs and some of the most surprisingly good fried chicken you will ever find at a grocery store. Seriously, don’t sleep on the chicken. Otherwise the building itself is well maintained and clean. The butcher meats they sell are of high quality, as is the produce.

Absolutely tremendous service! What stood out to me was when I had many groceries, and three workers assisted me to my vehicle. THREE! Definitely going back to the Publix.

OMG!! I love Publix. the sales are great and the deli is a must every visit. I tried a chicken tender sandwich that was sooooo delicious. I recommend you have them place in the warmer a few seconds. if you like Chick-fil-A sandwich, then you'll love this!!!

Great experience associates were eager to help and made sure I had the right parts and tools I needed for the job. If it wasn't for them, i would've had to make a trip back because I would've left a part that I needed .

Ok, I travel quite a bit by car and in my interstate travels this is the preferred publix for me. The service here is always really good *fingers crossed* the lines are especially long and being patient many times is a must because its a busy area. I hate that they have a no pets policy now...not just here but at all publix locations. I totally get it but I travel with a small chihuahua and I even put him in a little cute stroller to not have ppl come up to him or for him to bother others. If your pet is protected from the patrons and the patrons are protected from your pet especially dogs then it should be admissible. The last thing I would want to do is leave this little guy in the vehicle and some "know it all" "activist" decides that Im being abusive towards him when Im actually there to pick up treats for him so he can be entertained on our longer voyages. Other than this policy everything else was spectacular.

Publix is always a cut above the rest in quality, customer service and layout. We recently used their catoring menu for our baby shower and were blown away by how amazing all the food was. Love shopping here!

Spotless. Great selection of fruits and vegetables. Lot of parking. Staff is very good at this location. Love their soup. Clean restrooms.

Went in to ask for information on Holiday Meals. Everyone was extremely nice. I'm from out of state, so I purchased gift cards for this.

This is a very nice store that is extremely clean, the staff is courteous and they make you feel like an important customer. I always try to go to this store.

I enjoy the organic section and find fun options to create a new meal. Friendly and professional staff makes check out a pleasant experience, especially when I need/want help carrying groceries out to my car. What a great service experience!

I love this location and I appreciate the hard work of those that come in and work hard to provide the best possible experience. However, our visit Saturday morning left me feeling completely disrespected and dismissed. I had 4 items to check out and the young person at the register looked at my wife and I with disgust and as though we were intruding in their space. Begrudgingly they walked to their register to check us out and we walked away. Another young lady saw us, greeted us with a sincere smile and was inviting to check us out. I thanked her and offered my appreciation but we walked on to the self checkout. I wanted to let it go but in a time when businesses are struggling to keep their doors open it warrants to mention that a little customer service goes a long way. I strive for that everyday in my work field. I couldn’t walk away from the disrespect. I work too hard to earn the income I make to be treated by any employee of any company where I spend that income as though I am a burden or an idiot. To the young lady, you were awesome and because of you I give this location a 5 star rating. To the other person, take pride in whatever you do and do it to the best of your ability.
