When I first walked into the Reliable Motors office I had no credit. Period. The salesman said with a smile, "That's okay, all you need is the down payment." And that was it! No hassle. No fuss. While there may be a lot of people who are not into leasing, trust me, the people at Reliable Motors make it very easy.I definitely recommend this company to anyone who is in need of reliable transportation

After every car lot I went to in Durham Reliable Motor’s was the only place to get me in a good dependable car. Not only did I drive off in a nice car I did not have the whole down payment bc of my higher rate insurance but Reliable Motor’s says no problem just have it paid in 2 weeks. I almost did not stop in bc of the terrible reviews but I’m glad I did now. Yes these are used cars and some needs more work then others but my salesman was honest and said if I notice any problem with the car on the test drive then they would fix it, (it had nothing wrong with it) but when I drive off it’s sold as is. Very honest people here. Thanks again guys at Reliable Motor’s

Todos los clientes son atendidos amablemente sin epsecion, y a todos se les da la misma información, los vehículos los manejan,antes de comprar y tienen la opción de ir con un mecánico, ya que los vehículos no tienen garantia, los títulos cuentan con un leasse,el comprador tiene qué recogerlo en el diler,los vehículos son usados pero tratamos de ayudar al cliente lo mejor que podemos, mientras hagan sus pagos a tiempo, no hay problema, entendemos su malestar y sus malos comentarios, pero mientras hagan sus pagos y mantengan la aseguranza todo el el tiempo asta terminar el financiamiento, de lo contrario se reposecionara el vehículo, y se entregará dependiendo su situación, se le agradece a todos los clientes que confían en reliable motors.solo seguimos la políticas y reglas del negocio, gracias por su atención.

son vehicuos usados,el cliente lo maneja antes de comprar,tiene obcion de ir con el mecanico antes de comprar,los titulos traen un leesse, el cual tienen que recojer en el diler,el comprador del contrato,mientras hagan sus pagos no se les molesta,la aseguransa tiene que estar activa todo el tiempo que esta en financiamiento,los vehiculos no traen garantia,si el cliente se atrasa en pagos,cancela aseguransa por logica se manda arecojer el vehiculo y dependiendo la situacion no se devuelve el vehiculo,toda esta informacion se le cumunica al cliente antes de comprar y se le atiende amblemente sin ecepcion,entiendo los malos comentarios,porque estan molesto por reposecion de su vehiculo,y lo sentimos mucho pero es un negocio y hay politicas que hay que cumplir .GRACIAS

Personalmente nunca hemos tenido problemas con ellos al contrario han sido de gran ayuda y son amables en su trato
No entiendo de el porque tanta gente se queja si para empezar cuando uno compra un carro sin garantias uno de antemano sabe el riesgo que eso conlleva!!
Si los carros cero millas causan problemas por favor que esperan de un carro que compran AS IT IS
ademas de que ellos no les ponen una pistola o los hacen comprar a la fuerza los carros
Comportense como adultos y dejen la chilladera que en pañales no estan o si??
Si su carro le salio mal no es responsabilidad de ellos hacerse cargo de las composturas y punto
A uno se le da la oportunidad de manejar y sentir el carro antes de firmar el contrato de compra venta!!!
So dejen la mamila en casa y comportense como gente adulta por favor!!! No mamen!!

I am recently financing a 2014 Chevy Traverse from them. First off, they were patient with me , when I went to them I was a first time driver and they took there time with me during the whole process. I was allowed to drive the vehicle around to see if there was any problems with the vehicle. However driving it for 15 mins does not help you determine if anything is wrong with the vehicle. After driving it around, I took it to a mechanic up the road they looked in side the vehicle and saw that something was wrong with the coolant. I took the car back to the shop told the guy what they said and he fixed it immediately. After my paperwork was processed and everything went through I noticed the engine light had come on. The guy told me that the reason why the engine light had came on was because it was the sensors. So he resets the car, because it was my first time driving I believed it. After I put my down payment on the car about a month later the car broke down on me on the high way. When I took it in they told me the fuse box and the wiring was no good. So I had to pay for a new fuse box and new wiring. Then my engine light comes back on again after a month, I take it back in to my mechanic for them to run another diagnostic test on it. My mechanic told me that the exhaust was only prepared half way and not all the way. The car also needed a new converter as well. All together and not even going into other purchases I had to do for the car, I had put about a good 9,000 to 10, 000 into this car. Before other people say oh it’s the people that’s not paying on time, no not in this case I pay faithfully on time. Still have my car because of my on time payments. Basically the whole point of this review is had they would of been honest to me from the start then it would of gave me a chance to know exactly what I was getting myself into. There honesty towards this situation would of been better. However other then that, they are kind people and I wouldn’t mind doing business with them again if honesty is in place. I was aware of the car being sold as is, but no one went over the faults of the car with me. However thanks again for your service and patience.

I see a lot of entirely negative reviews online, but I will actually give Reliable Motors 3 stars. I purchased a Prius from them a few months ago, and overall things seem to be OK.
A few items:
a) The price was pretty good, but it was not a GREAT deal. I was able to negotiate a bit.
b) They did make it pretty easy. Show up with cashier's checks and drive off with the car.
c) The web-site said they offer 3 month warranties. When we were doing the purchase, I inquired about that and was told, "no warranty." But I pointed out the web-site, the gentleman explained it was an old web-site, but also said they would honor the warranty. But then the company that actually backs the warranty declined it because the car is a hybrid.
d) We found an electrical problem with the vehicle shortly after we bought it. And we saw some evidence that the seller (or another previous owner) may have been aware of the problem. Before buying, we did a test drive but didn't really ask directly about any problems with the car, so it's partly our own fault for not being careful enough. They didn't lie, they just didn't volunteer the negatives about the car.
e) When I brought up these issues about the warranty and the electrical problem, they were initially unwilling to work with me about them, but I continued to pursue the points and they eventually did concede some things.

Bottom line: Overall, I think the price for the car was pretty fair. It's definitely a small-time feel about their operation. I generally had the feeling that they were not incredibly forthcoming, but they didn't seem entirely dishonest or anything like that. And they were at least willing to work with me a bit after I discovered some problems that I think they should have been more forthcoming about. If I were going to buy another car, I might consider buying from them, and I'd just be even more careful about having the car checked out and stuff.

They are a horrible place to buy a car from. They lied to saying they can do a welding job on my car but a month later my car started smoking I brought it back to them and they didn’t want to fix it. Even when I first bout my car it took them a whole week after I paid for my car cash to get a title. Would next give my service there again

I purchased a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu for my son July 20, 2022 for 4 times its value. It was a lemon. It broke down in November 2022, that cost $800+ just to get it running but the assessment was that this car was going to cost more to repair critical parts of it than car was worth. It broke down again in December 2022, and February 2023. I paid not only more than car is worth with down payment and in repairs but my son was paying a car note. It broke down again July 2023 a week before the day we bought it last year and another mechanic says this car is not worth fixing and in looking at what the previous mechanics assessed should never have been sold. Do not buy their cars! The car prices are tripled the value of the cars and the cars are lemons. My son is out of a car and has a car note. This is not right.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT GET A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!!! I am currently in the middle of a law suit with them. I spent $2500 down to get a vehicle and was given 2 weeks to pay the remaining $500 down COOL the next day my car was jumping BADLY !! So I took it back they attempted to fix it. Two days later the serpentine belt came off from the car over heating. They replaced the belt but didn’t address the issue of why it was over heating. Drove off 2 days later the car JUMPING BAD AGAIN. It hasn’t even been a week and I’ve towed the car once and taken it back 3 times. So I go get another opinion spend $300 on a diagnostic to be done!! Haven’t been able to get to work after spending so much money to make the remaining balance. Get a second opinion the mechanic come out shaking his head like they sold you a really bad car. To start you need to get this fixed!!!! So I take it back to them AGAIN and they only fix a portion of the problem car STILL JUMPING !!!!! But this time the serpentine belt popped off AGAIN from the car over heating. At this point I’m 6 months pregnant with twins haven’t been able to get to work and back and had a car sitting outside not working, battery dead, serpentine belt off and over heating. They weren’t willing to tow it unless it was for them to keep the car. So finally they tow the car !!! I called them to see what they were offering me to get the car back and if they were going to ACTUALLY fix it.. bc at this point I’m out of $3000 for a car I drove a week out of almost 2 months. They wanted me to pay the remaining down payment of $500 + $400 for repossession & the monthly payment of $380 to get the car back that wasn’t running!!! That I wasn’t able to work to make to begin with because they sold me a car that NEVER WORKED!!!!! This car has me stuck in the sun with my kids had traffic backed up it’s been a nightmare working with them. Their mechanic is horrible and they sell you cars that will only run a short period of time.

Please save yourself the ache this put on my family. Oh and I lost one of my twins due to the amount of stress!!!! Thank you for your not so reliable cars !!!!!!!

SCAMMERS! they sold me a Kia my Kia motor has blown out and still want me to pay off the car remaining balance and they lie in say no credit check it’s goes on your credit! the manger and staffing is Rude ! RUN
