Sweet Lola's

Sweet Lola’s made a last minute cake for my wedding. They created my exact vision and it looked even better than what I expected. My family loved the cake and they all keep talking about how good it was. Definitely will be going back.

Fantastic cakes and amazing customer service. Called on a Monday for a birthday cake on Tuesday. They were by appointment only both those days but I received a quick response that they would be happy to accommodate the order. The lemon cake was lovely and so delicious. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I went to check out Sweet Lola's one afternoon. I personally didn't realize that it was by appointment only on the day we went. However, the gal in charge showed up just at the right time we arrived. We bought a mix and match of 6 chocolate cupcakes. They were light, fluffy and super delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants some delicious cupcakes. Thank you :)

I'm changing my old 1 star review to 5 stars because my opinion has completely changed after trying cupcakes at their new location under new management on 6th Street. My prior review stated that the customer service was lacking and the treats my husband & I sampled were dry and not that good. I was greeted warmly inside the adorable shop by Melissa & got a 4 pack of gorgeous cupcakes: Oreo red velvet, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate raspberry, and carrot cake. She took the time to chat with me & made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. That alone is a huge change from my previous experience. I was blown away by the Oreo red velvet; it was so moist and incredibly decadent. The filling & the chocolate ganache topping was outstanding. I'm very picky with red velvet cake since I'm from the south & my expectations were exceeded today. My husband finished his peanut butter chocolate one in two bites & declared it much better than the old ones. We will definitely be back to try more treats & spreading the word. Anyone that had a bad experience before needs to come back & give it another try. You won't be disappointed!

This place is absolutely delightfully delicious! From the ice cream to the fruit tarts to the ice cream to the cheesecakes. This is one of the best bakeries I've been too! Even the cashier was awesome! They also have stuff for the pups!

I called Sweet Lola’s last week for an Elmo smash cake for my daughters 1st birthday. They were super easy to work with and made a beautiful, tasty cake. I was super impressed, and prices are super reasonable in my opinion. Will most definitely be using them again in the future.

The place is small and cute. The ice cream was very awesome the staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive to all the customers. We will definitely be back for some delicious cupcakes.

Just got some cupcakes today to try it out first time. Wow!! They're phenomenal!!!

Had them make 2 different flavors of cupcakes plus my wedding cake. Highly recommended! Not only did they taste delicious! They also looked soo good!

Personally have a gluten intolerance & have never had an issue - so thankful for some sweet treat options AND a quick last minute gift option.

The best bakery in town. They made cup cakes for our wedding and they remain one of our guests most memorable things. We make sure to stop in any time we're downtown.

Our favorite must-stop shop in Wausau. The cupcakes are good with frosting that isn't cloying but just right. The frosting cups are fun, and the Opera cake is amazing. Good coffee and ice cream along with friendly service! Love!

New space is bright and inviting. Entryway feels like you're in the wrong place because it's shared with another business.
Fridays and Saturdays they have amazing gluten-free cupcake options!

I stopped in out of the blue for a quick sweet treat, near closing time. I got a lemon cupcake, and it was divine!!

My favorite place for cupcakes and all things sweet! Their cheesecake is amazing, super smooth and creamy. Definitely coming here for all my future bakery needs.

My 80 year old mom requested a raspberry torte for her birthday! I wasn’t even exactly sure what a torte was. I called around and not many places make tortes…until I call Lola’s. She asked lots of questions as to what I wanted. It was beautiful and the best almond raspberry torte I’ve ever had! Excellent choice for us! Will certainly shop there again!

This is our very favorite place to stop for a treat. We don't go there all that often (sweets are a treat in our house) and yet- are greeted by name when we walk through the door. The cupcakes are amazing, as are the lemon bars, red velvet brownies, and opera cake! (I'm sure it is all amazing, but those are the things we have tried!) We love the atmosphere and are always greeted with smiles. My mom lives 2 hours away and always makes a special request for Lola's cupcakes when she is in town. :)

We had Sweet Lola's do the desserts for our wedding. They did an absolutely amazing job! We had a variety of miniature desserts - cupcakes, cheesecakes, tartlets - available in both gluten-full and gluten-free forms. We also ordered a small wedding cake. Everything was delicious, they delivered on time, and were very willing to accommodate all our requests. We were so happy with everything they did, and would wholeheartedly recommend Sweet Lola's to any friends or family in the future.

Whenever we visit Wausau, we never miss stopping at Sweet Lola's for cupcakes. My daughter has a dairy, egg, almond, cashew allergy and can rarely eat baked goods from a bakery. Sweet Lola's always has several fresh cupcakes in two different flavors that she can eat. She loves that she can actually go to a bakery and pick out a sweet treat that is delicious. My favorite is any cupcake with the cream cheese frosting. The buttercream is good but their cream cheese frosting is amazing. Customer service has always been great.

I live in Seattle WA where we have a choice of many wonderful bakeries however the cake that we ordered for my granddaughers birthday from Sweet Lolas was the best cake I have ever had. Just about everyone who tasted it agreed. It was salted carmel which was different than I expected. It was filled with homemade carmel that was fantastic! The butter cream was a perfect french buttercream that was fabulous on it's own but with the homemake salted carmel it was really delicious. I would highly recommend Lola's!
