I had a great experience at CarMax of Greenville. I had shipped the car that I wanted from Raleigh to Greenville to test drive and when I got there the process was smooth. I brought my own financing, paid my down payment and signed the documents and got my car. What I liked about the experience was that they weren’t pushy at all. They saw that I knew what I wanted and they just made the process easy. I will definitely come back again whenever I have any car needs.

The service is great here. I’ve bought 3 cars from here already and the employees are super nice. Going in the prices are non negotiable no matter what and all the prices are displayed and the lowest they can go. The sales associates I worked with were so nice and knowledgeable through the whole process and made it fast and easy to understand. The extended warranty they have is also great and covers most all problems that could go wrong.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Trevor, a sales consultant at CarMax and I am absolutely thrilled with the experience he provided throughout the entire car-buying process. Trevor's friendliness, patience, and commitment to service have left an indelible impression on me. Outstanding experience. By far the most stress free, quick and convenient experience for selling a car. Very friendly customer support through the whole process at the store, from welcome, to check-in and completion of inspection / sale.

My husband and I went to CarMax on Thursday, February 29th. Dominique sold my husband and I a 2020 Civic Is. He was very kind and thoroughly answered any of the questions that we had! I wish I could give more than 5 stars for his awesome customer service and professionalism!

I had an overall good experience. Everyone was very courteous. The process went well. I did take a while to get my paperwork generated, but I think they were busy that day. I was there about 2 hours total. Felt like I got a fair price for the car I was selling.

Everything was so smooth. There was one small, tiny hiccup at the end when I went to go pick the car up, but it was only because of system/computer issues. The communication between all the associates that helped me was stellar, and they kept me updated through every step of the way. Before I chose CarMax, I got the run around from Carvana and I was honestly so scared the same thing was going to happen here, but I got nothing but wonderful service. I did everything online, and it only took about 4 days total before I got to drive the car home. I have 0 credit and they let me choose my down payment. Thanks to Shelley, Prea, Luz, and Lynn Ann. I'm so thankful for my car!

Man Carmax took care of me. I was hard to please and did several trade backs before finding what I really wanted. Be anure to do your research and ask to test drive. Ask for Diego if you go to this Greenville SC location. His customer service was top notch and I will absolutely go to him again the next time around. I promise it will be a while though Diego. Haha.

Had a great experience purchasing my new car at Carmax. Domingo, my Salesperson was very nice. He explained everything to me including the max care, their extended service plan. I bought many cars in my life, but Domingo my sales representative stands out the most. I will definitely be contacting him for my next car purchase for my business again, I can’t stress the fact how he’s made this experience easy and straightforward. I highly recommend when you go to this Carmax to ask for Domingo!! he actually cares about the customer and not just about the sale.

I have been there 3 weeks in a row. Each car I bought had engine problems. The first two cars I returned and was given the opportunity to get a third vehicle. The third vehicle ended up having engine-mechanical issues. CARMAX got that vehicle towed back to them and have given me a loaner to drive while they fix my third car. This has been a very upsetting experience for me, but CARMAX has taken care of me each time. I am grateful for that but I’m so nervous about anything more happening. It’s just ironic I would have this happen 3 times and it was/is a stressful time for me.

I hate doing the whole "car buying" thing -- from looking and test-driving to haggling, and waiting for the mysterious wizard behind the curtain to accept my offer. Although I have been in the automotive industry since 2003, specifically F&I, I'd much prefer to get a root canal any day over buying a car.

Diego, at the Carmax in Greenville, was efficient, attentive, and professional. He listened carefully to my needs and respected the fact that I came in ready to sign and get out ASAP.

From start to finish it was just under 2 hours! I used the Express service to complete everything. From financing to scheduling the pick up of my new (used) SUV! The night before I was able to look at over 400 vehicles, compare them, and then come to a final decision.

I would highly recommend CarMax over any other dealership experience out there today.

Buying a car through them is done with ease. No need for stress. My sales person Travis was so informative. When my car check engine light came on they took my car straight into the shop and gave a rental. Overall so far so good.

CarMax is super duper amazing!

I got my new car there and it was my first time ever financing or going through a legit dealership. They were absolutely great through the entire process and made it so easy and stress free. They answered every question and explained things without hesitation and in a way that was easy to understand. And a bonus (one of many) is that my MaxCare plan is included with my monthly payment.

But one of the things that really stood out to me was when I had to have my car shipped from another CarMax in another state before purchase. My car needed transmission work before being shipped and they took care of it before they would even ship it! I thought that was pretty awesome. And I was kept well informed on the process and progress every step of the way.

I highly recommend CarMax! I've practically been shouting their praise from the rooftops, telling everyone I know (and even people I don't know) about them and how great my experience was in working with them. I'm definitely going to go to them first the next time I need a vehicle.

We've bought our last 4 vehicles from this CarMax location over the years and have had great experiences with vehicles and staff every time. It's why we keep coming back. They offer fair trade in prices and each vehicle we've had has been reliable and ran great.

Definitely recommend buying and trading vehicles in this no haggle situation. Could we save money doing it via private party? Sure, but not having the hassle of dealing with numerous strangers and DMV paperwork is worth it to us.

I had a pleasant experience purchasing my vehicle through CarMax. I was a bit nervous going from various things I had heard previously, but decided to try them out since their website was easy to navigate, they were easy to get a hold of, and the employees were knowledgeable and patient. They made the process easy and painless.

Got a great value for my trade in. Worked with blond Lisa throughout the process and she truly made us feel valued. She took great care to walk us through each step and I would highly recommend her to a friend!

We just sold our car to CarMax. I will say for us the experience was quite pleasurable. They were quite crowded but yet very efficient. Mitch who was our first person of contact was very easy to deal with. The car we were selling to them was then examined by a young lady I wish I knew her name she was excellent I was so impressed with thoroughness how she kept checking out every part of that car. Then another gentleman again extremely kind of extremely good took the car for a test drive which I went with them. He did not abuse the car in the test drive at all and the experience worked out perfectly. After the test drive we went back in and waited about 10 or 15 minutes and they gave us a price which was definitely more then the three other dealerships down the street one who was a nightmare I would never go to that VW dealership.

The VW dealership down the street when we went to get a quote from them their manager wanted to drive the car would not let me be in it which I would not let him drive the car so that ended that discussion very quickly anytime somebody wants to take your car for a drive and not let you be with them I feel that they're up to very dishonest means.

As far as the whole experience with CarMax selling them the car was flawless now this was just 2 days ago and I'm sure the check will clear without a problem. I have read some of the negative reviews on CarMax I'm not sure I understand I'm just grateful for my experience worked out to be so good and I'm so grateful to Mitch and the rest of the crew. They show total integrity and definitely inspected the car much more so than the three other places we took it to and they did offer us a better price.

I would recommend CarMax to others the only thing I would say after reading the other reviews and not knowing the exact situations people should always try to do their due diligence. But as far as us I'm very grateful to CarMax and they were more than fear thank you

Christina was extremely helpful and great to work with. Transferring the car we wanted from another location was quick. The overall buying process was efficient and everyone was very pleasant to work with. We’ll undoubtedly use CarMax with our next purchase.

The visit started before you opened up, because I wanted see your vast selection of autos so I'd have a better idea what I had to choose from. I was told you were expensive, but compared to the thought of going to the company on the other side of the freeway didn't impress me either. I was already familiar with them from previous yrs.
I think her name is Dawn, grabbed our attention from the minute she got started on her day. She made it easy start with the credit report and what our ball park price was. Then showed a selection of what I was looking for and put the whole picture together, she explained everything, and answered questions even after she explained it all. My husband and I made a purchase after carefully weighing out all the details why we were there in the first place. Thanks Dawn and your finance person(s) for giving us an early Christmas present to ourselves
