One of the few restaurants that have cocktail sauce. The talapia and shrimp were great. I like the layout of the dining room, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I finished with a slice of chocolate- banana swirl cake. Delicious but could have been better if served at room temperature or slightly warmer.

The food was so fantastic! I have never had tilapia so delicious and juicy. The catfish was outstanding and the red beans and rice were shockingly delicious. Huge shrimp and drinks were a plus, and the sauces were really complementary to the food. The service was really great, we had a super nice server who took the effort to make our lunch dining experience wonderful. For amazing seafood in Oklahoma this place is a must! It also has a really cool atmosphere and I loved the aesthetic!

Nice, clean restaurant, friendly staff, EXCELLENT food. If y’all live in or around Norman and have any taste for their kind of fare please come give Sam’s a try, you won’t be disappointed. I need this place in my life for a long time.

My wife and I came in for the first time last week, and the food was absolutely amazing. We had the Fried green tomatoes, Crawfish Po' boy,a bowl of gumbo, crab cakes, fried shrimp, hush puppies, and red beans and rice. All were excellent. Our server was awesome, and the restaurant is very nice and huge inside. We will be back.

My husband and I are so happy we stopped and tried them! The fry is amazing and the best hush puppies I've had in years! It's obvious they use fresh oil and the flavors are on point! This will be a regular stop for us! Staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. Wish I could give more stars!

This was my first time here as I'm visiting my mom for the day here in Norman. This place did NOT disappoint. The fish was absolutely amazing... well seasoned & fried to perfection. The mushrooms were too die for & the service was great. Definitely recommend! I'll be back.

Absolutely phenomenal!!! My 16 year old eats here quite often and they're already starting to recognize him as a regular. The menu is epic and he tries something new each time but always snags a Po Boy. The Mozz sticks are seasoned and the 10 minute drive home doesn't even cool them down! Hands down the best kept secret in Norman that people need to know about!!

I ordered shrimp po boy and was expecting a small sandwich as Ive had it in New Orleans , to my surprise it was two sandwiches! And they are not shy with the shrimp they was jumbo fresh and crunchy , the bread was amazingly crunchy and fresh all for a good price ! I hate to say it but this was way better than the ones I’ve had in New Orleans! Deff coming back here !

We enjoyed this new branch in Norman immensely! This was our first time to ever eat here, and we were not disappointed. Friend green tomatoes are one of my favorite appetizers, and grandma could not have done a better job. Just the right amount of Tang in these. The gumbo was delicious with just the right amount of spice. The catfish was perfectly cooked. The crispy, golden layer of batter melts in your mouth. I've never had friend okra come out cooked the same throughout a batch. There was not one bad or overly crisp piece. Overall, whatever they are doing, keep doing it! Staff was awesome. It was bustling that evening, but they still managed to find usseating quickly. With as popular and delectable as this place is, they are going to need more tables!

My husband and I shared a basket of fish, shrimp, and crab cakes. I was impressed to find them all breaded differently and tasty. Service was quick and friendly.

Really good grilled shrimp and fried catfish. They give you a good sized portion for the price. The decor is fun and interesting. Our waitress was very nice and helpful.

Get the fried pies! The chicken po boy was great. Ordered a grilled shrimp salad and used the sams sauce in place of dressing and it was a perfect light but feeling lunch. Waitress was attentive.

Honest to god one of the best places to get sea food in the landlocked state of Oklahoma. Po'boys are top tier, and I always get a side of Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice.

This is the best catfish I’ve eaten in a long time. Loved the coleslaw. Will definitely go back!!

This the best damn comfort food spot in Southern Oklahoma you have my word. Fried catfish w/fried okra is a must the chicken is fire and the burgers are solid to💯

My wife and I decided to try Sam's for our birthday... this place blew me away and exceeded my expectations. First of all, the decor is unique and, well... FUN. You'll want to walk around. The prices are beyond reasonable-- about 12 dollars a dinner. We had grilled catfish and grilled shrimp--wow. They certainly live up to their Cajun roots. Even the sides are great! My wife said she could make a meal out of the red beans and rice! Pleasant, prompt service, and absolutley no complaints... we'll be back!

These are the nicest people. I was there yesterday - owners are so nice. To top that off the food is great! I just moved to Norman and I always have to find the best catfish spot. THIS IS IT! Excellent catfish and okra. The prices are like, wow. Way better than anyone else.

Lemme tell ya, I'm from Arkansas and we are so picky about catfish it's low key obnoxuous. Y'all this catfish is cooked just perfect. And that is something to brag about.

Suffice it to say they are going to see a lot of me down there AND my family and friends.

First time here. The menu offers Cajun food. Fried or grilled. We chose fried during this visit because we never eat fried or carbed foods. It was delicious but heavy for a lunch and having to be in 104° weather after. It was too heavy and made us feel sluggish. I feel it's because we never eat it and it affected us. Food was out quickly, place was very clean. We plan on going back when the weather is cooler and maybe try the grilled options. The red beans and rice tastes exactly like my own. So that's a 👍
