I tried this place for the first time on 2-6-24 and it was last minute. A great last minute choice. It’s a 1940’s style diner and they live right up to it. Great Customer Service! Quality Food! Must try! #FoodieDuaneTheWisconsinite

If you're looking for an old school burger joint, look no further! They cook their delicious burgers over charcoal and serve it on a butter roll with any fixings you want. The milkshakes are also top notch, made with real ice-cream and milk. French fries are not served here, so be warned.

Loved this place!! I am from Florida and it is not what I am used to for bar b q… However, we loved this place. Me and the wife both ate for about $10! We had 2 burgers, bratwurst, chips and a drink. Tastes the daughter milk shake, was very good!! Dinner looked like it was straight out of the 50’s and prices pretty much matched. Wish I lived closer, would be there often! 5⭐’s!!!

Mickey Lu's is exceptional! A step back to an old time burger joint and malt shop sets a charming atmosphere. The char-grilled burgers are delicious and the pie is delightful. Add to that some of the friendliest servers I've met and this place is a definite winner!

I don't really want to post this because I want this restaurant to stay the world's greatest secret but I also want them to have continued success and get credit they deserve. Best cheeseburgers, hands down. End of debate.

This place is so great. The food is traditional and yet somehow unique. It is so fun to see our burgers in the flames as we wait.

Fabulous old time gem. Humble prices on an basic menu of hot dogs, brats, and hamburgers. Their secret is flash grilling the rolls right before serving. The desserts are comfort food delightful.

We met a woman and her large group of friends outside when we went. She had just lost her husband. They were celebrating the night she and her husband had their first date. 50 years ago that evening.

My wife and I loved everything about this place. The atmosphere of a 1940s diner was everywhere. While we were looking for something Bar-B-Q, the staff kindly educated us on the fact that their Bar-B-Q was a method of cooking the food and not a sauce. Oh, and they've not served french fries since they opened over 80 years ago. We sat at the counter to get a better view of the deliciousness they make. I ordered a double cheeseburger, my wife a single. I'm not typically a fan of brown mustard but the ketchup, mustard, pickles and onion was awesome. The bakery-style bun was the best. Prices very fair.

I love Mickey Lu BBQ. Friendly, inexpensive, cute comfortable. Hubby had a perfect medium rare cheeseburger and I a yummy grilled cheese. I went there a lot growing up when I'd go up to Marinette to visit my grandma. Still delish and malrs are great. So happy I stopped in

This place is amazing!! The atmosphere is really cool,old pics up from the 50s.
I only had a double cheeseburger and it was easily the best I have ever had! A little on the small side but just get a couple there cheap enough. When we pulled up to the building you can smell the burgers! Definitely stop here.

Very old and straight forward little eatery with a tiny menu that is priced right and delicious. Highly recommend the double brat! Everything is cooked over charcoal for the best backyard taste in the area. Just try it!

Went there on a whim, as we always pass by it on our way towards Menominee. It was a pleasant surprise to be sure! A+ burgers at a bargin of a price! The wife and I totally plan to visit there more often!

Cool old diner! They have amazing food! The inside is dated, but I think it just adds to the charm. We had cheeseburgers and a butterscotch malt. The burgers were juicy, and delicious! They are on the small side so maybe order two😉 I would recommend anyone to stop here for a quick bite! They are cash only, so be prepared.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has never had or tried it. It was really cool to watch my burger be cooked in front of me. The burger was delicious, along with my milkshake.

The owner has been working their for a long time and he is a very nice guy. Kudos to him for being a wonderful owner over the years.

First time there. Excellent burgers and delicious shake. It’s great that they’re not “freezer to fryer”. We can’t wait to go again!

Such a fun retro little place. What you see on the menu is what you get. Sandwiches, shakes, soda, coffee. I did see a stand with bags of chips. There is no fryer food, all sammiches. And they're good. 😋

The food is soooooo delicious! Every last drip drop bit. The works are catsup, onion, pickle, & mustard. The only thing that had us confused was, the order board says
"Hamburger. $2.30 DBL $4.30"
So we thought DBL meant it was a 2 patty Hamburger. It really means two single burgers. So if you want 2 burgers, you're saving .30 cents buying a "DBL". I have not been there in probably about 10 years if not more. It's just as awesome as I remember. They still have old style booths, tables, chairs & stools at the counter. The old time style clocks, jukebox & other decor is nice. Reminds me of my youth.

Step back in time. 2 Fire roasted and Toasted roll/buns, beef patty, onions, ketchup, pat of butter, wrapped in wax paper. Super delicious, very similar to Kroll's in Green Bay but less expensive and the bun is a little bit softer. Worth the stop if you need a quick bite. Cherry pie warmed up was delicious. Went well with the vanilla malt.

Definitely worth the stop for a distinctive and tasty char-grilled burger. Didn’t have a shake but I suspect they are great! The burgers are classic McDonald’s hamburger size so either get a double or two singles if you are hungry.
