I absolutely love this place and the drinks are always good! Each team member of Exile is amazing! Even when they are busy I never felt like I waited long for a cocktail. The ambience of the place is very satisfying! The attention to detail at Exile from the design layout and artwork, makes you feel like your tucked away in your favorite room inside your house with friends. It's a great place to either start your night or end with a little nightcap.

Easily the best cocktail bar in Greenville. Love the fact that it’s away from the main downtown bar crowd but still within walking distance. Amazing casual atmosphere, great bartenders and hosts. Always great music playing from a variety of genres. Great prices on drinks. Definitely my go to spot if someone asks to meet up for a drink. These people really have something unique and genuine going on there.

Fantastic cocktails. Highly recommend "I bet you think this drink is about you" and "loose seal." The entrance is a bit a of a chore to find, but I think it might be intentionally to give it a speakeasy feel. I plan to come back to try their eggnog.

Modern, eclectic vibe with low lighting. Similar to the Kava Bar or methodical but With alcohol. There is not a lot of music to be heard because the acoustics inside the building are very jarring. Our drinks… Very tasty and the prices were good as well. Portions? About as equal to the price - no favors here. On a Friday night, we were unfortunately not able to get a couch or a chair so we sat at a bar. That should be a sign of how this place is catching on. A much needed addition to the stagnant and ever predictable Greenville bar scene. If having a mellow night out with good conversations and company is what you’re looking for, as opposed the lights, music, and television spectacle alternative, this place may just be for you. 5 stars.

An excellent cocktail bar. Casual enough to pop in on a random night or a good spot for a post date that's a little up scale. Good drinks at a fair price. Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I started our night here for date night. It's in the West End, we walked there from Falls Park, but it's not too far from other places if you're walking like we were. Walking in, it was a beautiful eclectic setting. We were welcomed by a friendly employee and sat at the bar. The menu had creative drinks for reasonable prices considering the bartender mixologists were creating thoughtful drinks. We enjoyed hearing about the drink menu creation process and the challenge of finding original recipes for the standard drinks. My H had an old fashioned, I had a Negroni. This is a must visit.

Excellent mixologists here. Don't miss out on this gem that would be a great addition to the scene in NYC or Boston, except it's in Greenville!

This place is the business!!! I love good cocktails and was worried at first since I thought it would be like Vault and Vator where me and the wife can only have 2 a piece before breaking the bank. This place is the complete opposite and will get way more of our business for it. On top of that they have a great environment with good tunes, great service, and comfy couches. Definitely my new go to favorite spot in GVL.. look forward to bringing friends here. Get on the way, you won’t regret your visit.

Loved the overall feel of this bar. Cocktails were delicious, and service was amazing with only one server working. Definitely my new favorite place.

Fun spot! Love it here so much we end up there almost weekly. Drinks are reasonably priced and the flat breads hit the spot. Service is killin it! Plus, the plants and decor make for an experience outside the typical Greenville bar scene.

if I could give this place fifty stars, I would. The cocktails are amazing. The staff is informative and will always be there to guide you on your cocktail adventure. I can’t wait for the reopening and to continue to support the staff and space

Everything about Exile is perfect in my eyes. The location, parking, decor, music, bartenders, and of course the cocktails! You won’t regret visiting. I’ve been there several times and have never been disappointed!

Such a hidden gem! My favorite bar in Greenville. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they have some great mid century decor. The drinks are incredibly creative but don’t worry they have classics too. While cocktails are the star of the show here, they have great beer, wine, and mocktails. Prices are extremely reasonable and there is even a $6 old fashion. You can tell that this was a labor of love for the bartenders and staff! Everyone is so friendly and they remember the regulars. Location couldn’t be more perfect-a little off the beaten path but walking distance to some great downtown spots. Don’t miss out on this great cocktail experience!

Favorite bar in Greenville. It’s so hard to find a place that makes a good cocktail, especially an old fashioned that isn’t filled with sugary mix. Exile makes their drinks so well that you can’t even tell what type of liquor is in them. They are boozy yet smooth and interesting. The entire vibe of this bar is cool, fun, cozy and inviting. I love the gothic theme to it. And finally, the food options are minimal but really good. You don’t go here strictly for the food so I was pleasantly surprised to find some tasty filling options.

Genuinely the best cocktail bar in town. The menu has something for everyone, the bartenders are experts in their craft and can make you the best of any classic or something you’ve never heard of and yet won’t be able to stop thinking about. The atmosphere is wonderful, the cozy but classy vibe makes you never want to leave. Greenville is lucky to have you, Exile!

Very nice cozy cute bar! Bartenders are actual mixologist! I appreciate that Mills took the time to explain the drinks, he even came back to explain the history of the pictures on the walls and their significance to the bar. The drinks were good, as well as the bar buffalo pizza. Because we're greedy we took advantage of the pizza truck too! Will definitely try and make it back!

There may not be enough positive things to say about this spot... And I'm not even a positive person!! Though, I am a realist, and strong believer in giving credit where credit is due... And these guys nailed it!!! Staff, atmosphere, selection, price point, creativity, personalization... All guarantee an amazing experience; whether enjoying a cocktail alone, catching up with old friends, or making new ones. Exile is everything a cocktail bar was meant to be.

We love this place. We have a tradition of closing our shop (The Vintage at Main) and walking over for a drink afterwards. Retro feel from the furnishings to the decorations. The drinks are awesome and are always great. Steve always says hello and Nick is great as well. Thanks guys!

My husband and I visited Greenville from Atlanta and our stop at Exile was the highlight of the trip. We were there as soon as they opened on Saturday and were not disappointed. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to chat with us about Greenville at large, their business, and share their beverage know-how with us. Stephen made us two excellent Bartender's Choice drinks, complex and delicious. Would highly recommend for a visit!
