Shoeless Joe Jackson Memorial Park

Grew up in West Greenville, this park is very nostalgic to me. Look for my name “Just” on the benches, and if you go across the bridge at the very back of the park , take a right afterwards, you’ll come to a location that was used for something(I’m not sure what) back in the day where I like to hang out, get some Sun, and read.

The park is nice. It only has one shelter and the park is right by it. The parking lot is small. It has an huge field and beautiful plants.

The parks been around for a long time. They done renovations to it. It's small but very nice. It has a path to walk on with a little bridge over the creek. A playground for kids and a covered picnic area. it also has a small ball field. it's never really crowded. which makes it a great place to go and chill for a bit. it's also dog friendly. Definitely recommend it.

It’s a nice little park located in a residential neighborhood. I was visiting from out of state and while in Greenville was viewing everything Joe Jackson! Which is what brought me here to enjoy lunch. It’s definitely for residences and not exciting for tourists, especially if you’re from a big city. However for a place to eat lunch it was real nice and cool to think about kids playing ball on the field.

Love this historical park. Been bringing the kids here for years. Yes it's not in the prettiest neighborhood, with million dollar homes, but it does represent the real Greenville. The blue collar worker's who made this town grow and profit. This park is just the right size to keep track of your kids and have fun without having to chase them all the time so as not to lose sight of them. There's a nice little Creek that runs beside it with a bridge your can cross to the other side were the baseball field is.

I walk thru the path and or around the baseball field to calm the troubles of my heart.. I often reminisce about my glory days of playing baseball.

I love this lil park i have been going here for over 20 years with all my dogs and grands they are in the midst of upgrading now it's looking even better..GO GUYS GO

My favorite place my kids love coming here it's not so crowded like most parks

Great swings (that swing really high!) and climbing equipment. Well-shaded playground and usually pretty quiet.

The field was in great shape. Also, one of the few baseball fields, that has a good out of shade

Quite place to just sit. Small playground to let the tikes get a lil energy out.

I sent the facility to coach little league football and the place is always clean and th grass is always cut.

First time going I njoyed the park and scenery.

Nice peaceful setting with clean restrooms.

Everything is perfect at the park.

So beautiful! And love the story behind the name

My boys LOVE to go crawfish hunting here!

Have had some enjoyable moments there.

Good place to take the kids too
