Nueske's at Gulliver's Landing

My first time eating here was a few months ago at a wedding reception and my wife and I really liked it then. The wife had a cousin and her hubby up and they all decided to eat here. Rather crowded, but there was plenty of seating for everyone. We didn't have reservations, but the staff fit us in, which was fantastic. We all had the fish fry (it was a Friday, after all), which was awesome. An appetizer of cheese curds was good, although a bit salty for my tastes. Everyone had a great time, loved the place, wish I had come here years ago.

First time. Was very nice. Kind of feels like you're inside a ship.
Steak was done medium and done right with onions on top.

!!--> food allergies , French fries and croutons are done in same oil as the fish. I had a reaction from this. You can ask those to be done differently.

Loved every bite of our Delicious meal and we were treated like Royalty from our Beautiful Waitress

From out of town and this was recommended to try. I had excellent baked fish that comes with soup and salad bar. Reasonably priced. Husband had special 1/2lb perch and he said it's the best hes ever had. Will come back next time we are in the area.

Really nice restaurant. Like a fancy big city restaurant but prices are Wisconsin nice. I will return.

Ii think this is one of the best Fish Fry’s in Wausau! Staff is excellent, drinks excellent!

They were very accommodating to my weird diet. Thank you for a wonderful night. Very good shrimp, chops, chicken, veggies and martinis. My diet doesn't exclude vodka.

Absolutely incredible meal. Loved the nautical themed decor. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection. My wife's Haddock was impeccable. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice night out and an AMAZING meal.

My neighbors and I enjoy traveling to area supper clubs to have dinner together. Last night we met at Gulliver's. There were 25 of us and we enjoyed a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared! Gulliver's provided us with a banquet room that made our ability to visit easy and so enjoyable. We were all served by Angela who did an incredible job. A huge thank you to Angela for her gracious hospitality!

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. I got the 24oz sirloin with mushrooms and asparagus and it was one of the best restaurant steaks i have ever had, the meat quality was very high and cooked medium rare to perfection, will be coming back every time i am in Wausau.

We stopped by last night for dinner. I had a 12oz sirloin. It was literally the best cut sirloin I've ever had.

A very enjoyable experience. Prompt, attentive and pleasant service. Nice atmosphere. Delicious meals of salmon and perch, with good-sized servings of the fish and accompanying potatoes and vegetables. Very flavorful and well-presented salads accompanied the meals. Drinks were well-made and reasonable amounts. The cheesecake for dessert was very tasty and satisfying. Very good value. Definitely will return.

Phenomenal Friday night Fish Fry. Generous and delicious food portions at a reasonable price. Spectacular wait staff, atmosphere, and lake view add to the five star experience.
