BenchMark Physical Therapy

Benchmark is the place for Physical Therapy PT and other needed services. I have used Benchmark in Athens Tn and it has great people doing wonderful services to help others. I am currently using Benchmark in Cleveland TN with Dr Kristopher Baker as my primary therapist. He is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and makes me laugh while I am exercising. This is my fourth week with four more weeks until I am finished. The third week showed great improvement in my mobility. I am rehabilitating due to a RHip replacement after an infection. I also do not have a left knee, only a concrete spacer which makes squatting and chair sitting very difficult. Kristopher helps me with so many different exercises and I love his attitude and constant encouragement. All the Benchmark facilities I have used and visited are neat, clean, sanitized and professional looking. Benchmark is my choice for quality healthcare and friendliness.

Absolutely the best therapists in Cleveland! Kris, Darby, Ann — all amazing physicians with knowledge and genuine care for their patients. Each of them go above and beyond to make sure their patients are comfortable and healing well. Even down to the front desk with Angel — she welcomes you in with a warm smile and cares about your progress as well. Thank you guys for helping me get better and laughing along the way. So grateful!😀

I worked with Darby Tobias this year twice..first a hip replacement she worked me so well that I used her again for a shoulder replacement in the same year..I was so happy with my results with my therapy that I return.. I rate Darby Tobias as 5 stars and Benchmark five stars! This is where you want to go if you have to have therapy!! It is a must!!!!! Thank you, Darby and Benchmark for a positive outcome!

I'm 16 and I had to attend a couple months of weekly treatment and I don't regret it at all! Would highly recommend! Although, it stops helping once you stop going, 😅 but overall a great experience!

The best staff ever,everyone always made me feel so welcome.i cannot say enough about my therapist Darby. She was thorough,professional,caring and understanding and you could tell she is passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend benchmark for physical therapy.

My therapist was Ann Underwood and she addressed my issue in a very professional manner. The end result was a recovery beyond my expectations. I would recommend her to anyone suffering from vestibular issues. I can not thank her enough for what she has done for me.

Great atmosphere. Very knowledgeable and precise on all things therapy. They accommodate everyone that walks in the door. And make them feel like family. Darby went above and beyond and is great. But all therapists on staff are amazing, helpful, and clearly have hearts for service.

Edit: side note. I'm completely healed from constant back pain thanks to the dedication and custom routine Darby created. I now have all the tools I need to get back to a full life minus the pain.

Ann did an exceptional job with my arm and shoulder. She was experienced, kind, and professional. Ann was able to expertly diagnose problems I did not even realize that I had, and quickly devised a plan to put me on the road to strength and continued recovery. I am looking forward to having Ann take care of all of my physical therapy needs in the future – she truly is the best!

This was my first time going to physical therapy & benchmark definitely made it a great experience. All of the staff is very knowledgeable & create such a warm, welcoming environment. They are so good about working with your work & life schedules. My therapist was Darby & she was amazing! She took the time to listen to my concerns & issues & has truly helped me get better. Can’t say enough great things about benchmark. 12/10 would highly recommend for any physical therapy needs!

Ann was my therapist and had been the last time I needed therapy and she is awesome! She nursed me back to better health and flexibility and helped me get rid of the pinched nerves in my shoulder and neck that was causing numbness down my arm and hand. She also helped with the lower back pain o was suffering with due to some herniated discs. Ann’s gentleness and encouragement and fantastic attitude always made it a pleasure to come to therapy!

I was sent to benchmark in Cleveland to help recover from a pulled muscle in my back. The whole staff was very pleasant to deal with. I spent about 24 sessions over 2 1/2 months working with Ann and she was great. I actually feel better now than I did before the injury.

Darby is the bomb! This place and it’s staff have definitely expressed me with how nice, kind, patient, respectful and professional they are.

Benchmark did a fantastic job helping me regain my ability to walk after pretty major ankle surgery. Cody went above and beyond in his care for me! He actually created a simulated paddleboard experience so we could train and test my ankle and get me back out on my paddleboard . Everyone that I cane in contact with was super professional, friendly and encouraging. Would recommend them anytime!

Really loved being able to recover here. The staff is amazing starting with the front desk ladies always greeting you with a smile, as well as the PTs. Mrs Ann and Darby were really fun to work with and it was always amazing to see them to start my school day. They were really patient and cooperative and it everything about it was just great. Thank you guys, and to the other PTs that i may not have gotten to work with.

I attended Benchmark Physical Therapy in Cleveland to obtain treatment on my recent shoulder replacement surgery. I was very impressed with the facility when I first walked in in regard to the amount of equipment and the pleasant environment. But even more importantly, the two therapist by whom I was treated, John and Ann, were outstanding. I am thankful to them for restoring the motion to my surgically repaired shoulder and for being sensitive to my needs and level of pain. I highly recommend benchmark for these reasons.

I would recommend Benchmark to anyone needing therapy. I’ve been going since September 2019 and I’ve met more than just therapist, I’ve made friends. I really respect what they do and how each one has helped me to reach my goals. From the desk girls to each therapist I’ve been treated with respect and gotten better more quickly then some other people who has had the same surgery. They have respect for each other and are very professional. I could not have gotten better without their commitment to do what it takes to get me where I needed to be at each session. So thankful I chose Benchmark and when I’m done I feel I’ll walk away not only recovered but with a therapy center that was as committed to my recovery as I was. Thank you to all the therapist that helped me reach my goal to move on with my life. May God bless each one of you.

Very professional never actually went but when I called them twice for information both people I spoke with were top notch on info and politeness

I didnt know what to expect when I first arrived at Benchmark. But I can say since I'm also in the medical field I do know a few things that's important to new patients, and the number one thing is seeing friendly faces which starts at the front desk. Benchmark has a very friendly staff at their front desk and through out the building. I am so glad my orthopedic Doc. Chose them for me. Both of my PT guys are awesome and are very patient with me and when i leave I'm ready to run marathon. Thank you Benchmark for accepting me as your new client.

I went to Bechmark after total knee replacement surgery. I had six weeks of physical therapy and I must say I had great care from day one till I “graduated” six weeks later. Jon, Shane and Ann were very interested in my recovery and took a personal interest in helping me reach my goals. They work as a team to keep you motivated and encouraged you to work hard during your sessions. At Benchmark they treat you like family and I liked that. I highly recommend them.
