Greenville Community Church

The name says it all; GCC is a church about community and being light, love, and truth to all people. I was warmly welcomed the first time I entered the church about 15 months ago. I joined late last summer and truly feel at home here. This is a thriving church full of young adults, growing families, and older couples and individuals; it is very diverse. Mike and Michael preach the Word with passion and integrity. They truly help you understand God's Word and grow in your knowledge and wisdom of Him and how we are to live. I love that they give practical ways to go out and spread the Gospel and be Jesus followers. The Praise and Worship Team are excellent and not too loud. The church supports many organizations helping Greenville and the community. If you are seeking a new church home, I hope you will visit and look forward to meeting you.

Great church. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. Sunday morning teaching is fantastic and they preach through whole books of the Bible. The kids programming is absolutely wonderful. My son loves to go to his preschool class on Sunday mornings. Lots of ways to connect with others in community through community groups, women's events, men's groups, etc. I also really appreciate how they seek to make a difference in the community. They support lots of organizations in Greenville that are helping others in their neighborhood and in the city of Greenville. So thankful our family found GCC and highly recommend others looking for a church to come try them out.

Update: Renovations to the church have expanded our areas to serve others. New spaces for babies and kids are complete, and new bathrooms are being completed as of 12/22. This is a joy-filled church! The pastors teach the gospel in a relevant way for all to understand and live by.

We started visiting Greenville Community Church and 6 months later it’s *still* a breath of fresh air.

It’s a SAFE SPACE to explore + be curious without feeling dumb or wrong for asking questions or for feeling frustrated or even for doubting.

You can grow slow (or fast) and still feel accepted knowing everyone is in their own place, just trying to have a better relationship with God.

Never have I attended a church with worship + bible teachings that prompt such personalized critical thinking. I love Michael, Mike, and Chelsea’s way of teaching!!

Our whole family has been experienced growth!

This church has been an amazing family and community. My wife and I are both new to the area; we visited this church upon moving and immediately committed. Christ is at work in this place and it is reaching the city and even far beyond it. The power of their ministry, the unity of their new building and body, and their involvement in the community is amazing. Proud to call this place home.

As a younger adult new to South Carolina, Greenville Community Church quickly became a place that allowed me to feel at home and connected. If you’re looking for a church that is more like a family growing and worshipping in faith together, this is the perfect church to join!

this group of pastors is AMAZING. I knew the Bayne's from my 7 years of living in Clarksville and they planted a church here. We are very active in the community and anyone who comes in will instantly feel welcomed. Now that we are in an actual physical church the roots will continue to set here in Greenville.
