Westside Park

Needed to practice for a swim test and did not have membership, but they did offer me a 3 day pass for $9. PERFECT! Now we want a membership...lol

A hidden gem of a park, some may be unaware of the ball fields and other amenities here since they can be overshadowed by the aquatic complex.

Features an upper field (2 pitches), lower field (full-size soccer pitch), a medium-size playground between the park and the complex, ample parking (with lots of tree shade!), and a nearly-concealed baseball field way at the back of the park.

UPPER FIELD NOTE: If you come here to use the upper field, keep in mind that it both upper pitches are reserved for Furman United Soccer Club Mon–Fri 4–9:30pm, Saturday 9am–9:30pm, and Sunday 12pm–9:30pm.

What a fantastic outdoor experience to bring the family to. Climbing up high, zip lining through the treetops, and navigating obstacle course bridges. Staff is friendly and always involved making safety the number one priority! They even have a miniature course set for they young kids 4 to 6 years of age.

Well maintained. Friendly staff and members. Bring your own towel and toiletries. The locker rooms are standard fare and give me a déjà vu of high school. Anyway. It's a great place.

Scenic and green soccer fields for use by the United FC soccer club...with one being available for public use. All fields have lights, which helps in winter months. Great location next to the Westside Aquatic Center too.

Westside is awesome. Variety of hours, website is regularly updated, very friendly staff.

The swimming lessons here are provided by awesome staff members.

Great place for a FAMILY fun day

This park is close to our house and my kids just love going. It's partly shaded by a large tree so on really hot days that's definitely a plus. On nice days after school hours you will find many parents with their children of all ages playing so your kids will have someone to interact with. Enjoy!

Me and my wife take our daughter here regularly. There is ample parking and good shade for the parents to sit while keeping an eye on their youngsters.

I do think that there should be more kid-safe mulch placed in the play area.

There are plenty of things to do and I think the play area could support anywhere from 1-15 children safely at anytime.

I love to take my granddaughter there but I hate they keep the bathrooms locked kids have to go pee sometimes and can't

We had our 8 year old granddaughter's birthday party there. The party included everything. All we brought we're the guest. Ariel, our hostess was excellent. She handled everything. All the party quest had a great time. It was well worth it.

Everytime I'm pulling into the entrance my dog just bounce off the wall with excitement I have to say this is his favorite place on earth he loves walking threw the woods we love it

Has 2 amazing fields for soccer or whatever you want to use it as and a great pool but for the public there isnt much restrooms

I finally took swimming lessons for adults. It was a little scary at first, but the instructor was very good, also patient with each and every student in her class. This helped me to be comfortable in the water. As a result, I finally was able to open my eyes under water and learn how to swim.

This is a great little park. It is always clean and well maintained. Its geared towards towards kids aged 5-12. There's one picnic table and a few benches for parents. We go here often and love it.

Best competitive pool in the UpState by far. County does an excellent job maintaining it consistently and keeping it running in top form.

Fantastic pool for u8 states every year

Great small park for kids up to twelve. The pool ,back in my younger days was amazing but now the public isn't welcome. Used to be that a kid could walk to Westside Pool and make a lifetime of memories, it seems those days are gone.
