M.Y. Chockdee Oriental Market & Restaurant

Stopped in for lunch at M.Y. Chockdee Oriental Market. As you enter the market you may think you are at the wrong door, but as you walk around to the left you will see the food serviceline and tables. The Asian flavors are delicious and cooked fresh. The prices are really inexpensive and the servings are plentiful.

Today I was craving some chicken pancit and lumpia. A quick google search determined everything was closed when I got out of work except this place! It was 7:10 and they closed at 8:00! I called and placed the order over the phone, she asked me my pickup time and name and I was on my way! I quickly arrived and it was ready on the dot of when I said I’d be there!! The portion size of the pancit and the lumpia was amazing and the flavor was even better! Definitely will be coming back, customer service was great and very reasonably priced which is IMPORTANT in these times! Forgot to take a picture of the order before I dug in! 🤣🤣

We did takeout for dinner from here last night. We ordered the Pepper Steak, Pancit, and Lumpia entree, the Adobo entree with Pancit and Lumpia and an additional 8 piece order of Lumpia with dipping sauce. All of the food was very good. We will definitely return again and would highly recommend you give this place a try. They have a buffet as well.

It is one of our top to go to places for Filipino food. The food was quality and not heavily priced. Those combos we have they sell it for $9.99 and the serving was pretty generous.

The staff were all helpful and the service was fast you can go in and out in a snap as long as it is not packed.

The restaurant do have a grocery store inside where they sell all asian goods and veggies. The place is big but since you have restaurant and grocery store at the same time there’s only few chairs they can fit for dine in.

It is clean and comfortable place to have your lunch or dinner. Parking might be a challenge during a busy hour but you can park in front of the store or across.

Very good food! Loved their pancit, longanisa, pork bbq Pinoy style, and the serving was great! It was also reasonably priced!!

There's a grocery store and an eatery inside. You don't get the "restaurant vibe" but more of a "turo-turo" eatery, which is reminiscent of Pilipinas! We loved it.

They also have good selection of groceries. Not as much as a standalone grocery like Asia Supermarket. But it had the basic veggies we like and basic Pinoy we usually buy. We will be coming back for sure.

Omg this store right here!! They have amazing Filipino food, I lived in the Philippines at a young age and the chicken sticks hit the flavor right on!! The pancit, lumpia was delicious. I'll definitely be back when in the area

love this place! I grew up in Pampanga and the sisig here is soooooo good! Variety of filipino canned goods! The pandesal reminds me of the ones I get back home. One of the best filipino market I’ve been to around San Antonio.

We had a great time visiting this hot spot near Randolph AFB. We had heard there was a great Filipino restaurant with a store here, but noticed it was the reverse when we got inside. We originally went to get some lumpia wrappers, and were dragged in by the wonderful smells of Pinoy cooking goodness. This is a store in the front with a cafeteria style restaurant in the back with tables amongst items for purchase. Be prepared to get a takeout box if you grab a combo. You get more than enough for two people. If you're not sure just get a couple of different dishes to take home, they were all delicious. I had the diniguan, and was happy with my choice. You also get a choice of noodles or rice and a lumpia with your main. This is the spot to find any recipe items if you are making Filipino or most other east Asian recipes here. Final note, you can also call in your orders, there were plenty of people picking up meals and lumpia to go.

I’ve been coming to this place for about two years, because of my Filipino friends lol. They have great food and a variety of Filipino groceries you can buy. This place is like La Michoacana and La Culebra store but for Filipinos lol. Food tastes homemade and very authentic. If you are in the area, you should check it out.

I miss their buffet. Otherwise great selection of ala carte and combo meals. The store has plenty of items, snacks, treats etc.

Amazing Pancit & Lumpia
I really love when the Pancit is seasoned I’m not sure who is making it when I come but don’t change a thing!!

My daughter is hooked on their lumpia! And that garlic fried rice and fried chicken 🔥🔥🤌🏾. Hasn’t disappointed us yet and hopefully that won’t change 🙏🏾

This was my first time going to M.Y. Chickadee. I bought poncit and pork belly and it was very good. I'll be returning to try other items.

I’ve lived in the area for over 50 years and have past this establishment thousands of times in the last 10 years at least and have never stopped in. BIG MISTAKE! The food and staff there are absolutely amazing. The prices are extremely reasonable as well as the amount of food they give you. The restaurant and store are extremely clean and the store is stocked with everything you can think of to prepare Filipino dishes and then some. They even have fresh produce and baked goods. If you haven’t gone and tried the food there you need to go and pay them a visit. My husband and I have decided we are going to go every Thursday night as a scrumptious treat….

Not the most friendly service but they make fresh food for sale by the register every day and THAT is the reason I love this place. The food is delicious! Some days they have more food then others. It really depends on how early you're there. Most days, there are: lumpia, sweet breads/treats, cucumber kimchee, spring rolls. AND of course, they have more food options in their restaurant that you can sit and eat at.

I always enjoy coming to M.Y. Chockdee. They cook authentic Filipino food and have a good selection of treats and groceries from the Philippines.

Food is always on point and service is always friendly! Plus, they have stuff you can't find in regular grocery stores for us Asians!

This is a fun market/food to go place. The people are friendly. So are the customers who are mostly Philippino. I've been here twice but have yet to shop the warehouse style shelves. I love shopping international markets.

The best lumpia we've ever had. Excellent! Can't wait to go back and try more items.
