Visited Mission Espiritu Santo in July during my Texas History roadtrip. Was a cool experience getting to walk through the mission and see the grounds. I don't have pictures available from inside the museum but there was alot of great information and I believe they are adding to the collections. Getting to wear the chain mail and helmet was awesome and drastically cooled me down from the 100 degree weather.
If you are visiting Goliad I would recommend adding this Mission to your list of things to do.

This state park is absolutely awesome especially for the day tripper in Texas. If you enjoy history and the Lone Star state go for it. Also camping was provided but restricted. Plenty of deer we saw before the tour, also several clean restrooms.

This mission goes hand in hand with the Presidio which is close by...be sure to visit both for the complete story. The Mission is in remarkable condition thanks to today's caretakers and the CCC crews before WW11. Great education on early settlers on eastern Texas. Go see it!

Built in 1722, renovated in 1933. The walls outside are 300 years old. Amazing architecture and peaceful surroundings.
