This was recommended by the locals while my wife and I visited Goliad to see the historical sites. We took their advice and I'm certainly glad we did! I ordered the chicken mole enchiladas while my wife ordered the cheese enchiladas, and we shared a guacamole bowl to enjoy with the complimentary chips. The Cokes were fresh and carbonated just right! Great service and many kudos to the lady who served us (I tipped her well), and the food was absolutely delicious. It's not a fancy place but it was clean and quiet, and plenty of space outside for parking. We'll definitely be back the next time we come into town!

The food was amazing. My son absolutely loved the carne quisada and the salsa. I enjoyed my whole meal and the queso because it has meat in it. I would definitely recommend coming here and trying it out. I know my family all agreed we will be coming back.

For me La Bahia restaurant is what I remember Mexican restaurants being when I was young. This was my third visit as I'm having an extended stay in Goliad. The food is very good and consistent. The staff is very friendly but occasionally gets overwhelmed. This is never an issue for me as I'm never in a hurry. Their ground beef is some of best I've ever had! It is so flavorful and spiced and cooked perfectly. All of the menu items I've tried are the beef enchiladas, Tex-Mex w/crispy beef taco, Panchos, Chili con Queso w/beef and sopapillas. There salsa is thin but very tasty and the chips are very good. Currently they are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday with limited hours and request you make a reservation.

A salsa is really good and for those who like spice this is the spot.
I got the carne guisada saw the plate. The portion was very large and everything's good on the plate. It comes with 2 fresh made tortillas that completed the dish perfectly. They also have a large selection of menu items like chicken fried steak and T bone

Our womens church group met at LaBahia last Saturday night. We all had the enchilada plate with a taco; was delicious!! My family goes there frequently and orders a variety of items from the menu. They never disappoint!

On a tip after visiting the Presidio La Bahia on the outskirts of Goliad, we stopped to eat at La Bahia Restaurant on Hwy 183 south. What a treat! We both had grilled chicken salads and savored every bite. Rich with flavor and a healthy serving of chicken, the meal was delightful. Service was prompt and courteous and the restaurant was spacious and well kept. Highly recommended!!

The food was delicious Mexican cuisine. The staff was friendly, clean, and helpful. The restaurant had a comforting feel. Pricing wasn't too out of reach. The average dish went for $10.

Very good food and pleasant staff. Only drawback is that sometimes it takes a very long time to get the food ordered.
Take out works best for us.

Good food. Nice people. Sometimes you have to ask a few times for items such as tortillas or queso. But nice experience.
