Simply Donuts

Simply Donuts sure aims to please. They made my twists without glaze like I like them. They are bigger than other places, and have the down home, homemade taste. But they also have drive thru, and they open at 5:00 am. It’s clean and reasonably priced. They have kolaches and use Chappell Hill sausage.

I love the bread for the Kolaches, more like those Hawaiian roles (sweet and soft) . Boudin was good and the spicy boudin did have a little kick but not too much. 3 small sausage and cheese, 1 spicy and 1 regular boudin, and a bottle of water was about $11. Will def be coming back and using the drive thru otw to work. Went inside today because of a review about cleanliness but everything seemed fine during my experience.

Highly recommend this donut shop!! They have probably my absolute favorite small jalapeño kolaches around and they are always so kind! Love coming here

I’ve been there twice already and I love it ! The guy at the front is always very welcoming! The kolaches are amazing !!!! And the croissants are always so gooooood! I highly recommend this place and the price is always cheap! It thank you for a great breakfast !

They have good donuts and use quality palm oil ( not hydrogenated and not soybean and not cheap oils ) I use these for weight gaining.

My fav donut shop. Every now and then when I buy donuts or kolaches for my crew, they always want to know where they came from. Chappel hill sausage kolaches, boudin kolaches, great croissant sandwiches, strong recommendation on the cinnamon roll. A very nice family ran establishment.

Love this place. Been going since my kiddos were young. Same family owned. Very nice people and the only donuts ill.cheat with. And their boudin kolaches. Are the best. Forever my cheat place.

Fantastic donuts and probably the best kolache I’ve had in Houston.

My favorite item is the breakfast sandwich comprised of bacon strips, a fried egg, and cheese, layered inside a croissant bun. I usually also get a small sausage "kolache" with jalapeno pepper. Favorite dessert is the apple fritter, but I also like the frosted donuts. I don't get my items microwaved at the shop -- I take it all home and zap it there so everything is sizzling hot and ready to eat when I am. (P.S. I also like the pleasant family who operate this small business near my home!)

I absolutely love this donut shop. Their donuts are good, but I am a huge fan of their kolaches and their croissant sandwiches. Man, they're so good. And they've added a few 'new' kolaches to their menu (boudin - love it, and brisket! - trying that one today 🤞). Also the guy that's usually at the window is so nice. He's always friendly. I just love this place.
