Food Town

They store is clean and vegetables always look very fresh. I can easily find what I needs. The cashier have excellent customer service

I’m giving Foodtown a five because if you looking for a quick place to go and pick up some items at a very reasonable price Foodtown is the place to go especially being a little small mixed minority neighborhood

My daughter and i were both sick with the flu, and I went here for some pediatric dosed medicine. But when I went to check out, my card kept declining and I didn’t have my phone on me. I had forgotten the unlock pin for my card in that moment of anxiety, having a line of other shoppers behind me.
The cashier was wearing a mask, and also spoke broken English, so when the manager was requested via loud speaker, I assumed it was to void the transaction, so I could run to my car to get my phone, to unlock my card.

But no, thats not what she was doing. The selfless cashier asked for permission to pay for my item.
She then pulled out a wadded up $10.00 bill and paid for my child’s medicine, no hesitation.
I’ve gone back several times to try and pay her back and thank her again, but since she was wearing a mask, I can’t identify her. I’ve asked other employees if they might remember the incident, but to no avail.
So I want to sincerely thank the staff at this location regardless. They are always so friendly and helpful no matter what.

Convenient, sometimes great prices. Produce could be better.

The store is so clean and organized. I work at a grocery store also. I am impressed with
Food town. The aisles are clutter free. Produce is always fresh. The employees are friendly and always in uniform. The floors are impeccable. Hats off to this food town!

Always get good deals at food town

The store was clean and laid out very well. I mostly went for produce and everything I wanted was available, looked good and was at a decent price.

It's a great store but some lady was taking pictures of me like i was stealing and i don't steal i don't know wat her problem was she works there a short Mexican lady

I've done more than one review about Food Town, and can't say anything that would bring the score down this time around. I just need to say that we all know that the prices have gone up (alot) in all stores. They're not as bad as some I have walked out on. Now I get all my meat's there because the price is right and you can feed your family and have some for later. We have to help keep stores like them.

Well your not going to get any high end gourmet options here or anything trendy but for your bare basics, the prices are GREAT and everything is always fresh. Store is super clean and staff is friendly. If the hood aspects of the area and some of its shady looking shoppers dont scare you off, go get you some affordable food for you and your family

I LOVE this place! It's always so clean and organized. The prices are good, and the customer service is over the top! I have been shopping here ever since I moved to Houston and wouldn't have it any other way! 👍

Always surprised at in-store sales that may not be in the sale paper and these items are things that I normally buy. Everybody helpful. Even the manager put two large cases of water in my basket for me and then asked if I needed anything else. Cashiers always nice!! Produce excellent. Sometimes some produce looks better there than other grocery stores and prices are always competitive!! I love my Airline and Antoine/Pinemont stores :-) Negative: No more JR Chili for my mom :'-(

This Foodtown was a good experience.!!! Mainly blacks and Mexicans who are nice, helpful and patient threw the isle. I had a great time. The store is organized well lines move fast and there's good sales that go on. I only advise Foodtown head owners to bring more healthy selections.

Decent selection of produce at an incredibly reasonable price. Maybe a slightly smaller selection than a larger grocery store like HEB or Kroger, but the prices make up for it. We do most of our shopping here every week and will continue to do so. And for those of you who are thinking it, yes, the produce is cheaper than ALDI. That's the nicest surprise.
