Northfield Restaurant

Food was very good. We ordered off of the breakfast and lunch menu. Everything we ate was very tasty. I recommend the club sandwich or the burger.

What a great find in the Northfield community. The food was excellent with a wide variety to choose from including breakfast, lunch, and dinner fare. The California Wrap was large, enough for a full meal and take home. The Turkey Club was also well stacked with tasty fries. Inside was well laid out, conversation level with ease, and table service was excellent as well. All in all if in the northern suburban area of Chicago, definitely a small off the main drag stop to make.

Omelet was perfect! Hashbrowns were fantastic! I would absolutely eat here again. Service was fast and spot on.

Classic Diner where for regular customers, it's like their second home with staff talking to them about everything...first time here and enjoyed their corned beef hash with eggs...coffee was constantly flowing and the small place ambience made it really comfortable

Fast and tasty. The second part I expected, not the first. We had our breakfast within 6 minutes of ordering. Friend got the north field skillet and I got the Denver omelette. Something about a 3 times folded Omelette with ham off the bone...it's nostalgic and comforting. It was a busy Saturday morning but the visit was quick and the food was great. Parking leaves something to be desired, but we figured it out. Great place.

Awesome breakfast place! Really good service and the food came very very fast. Fantastic bacon waffle and skillet. Would go again anytime.

We came to Illinois for our sons navy graduation. Stopped in here for breakfast before we started our 12 hour road trip back home. The food was fantastic!!! Ms. Kathy was wonderful! The bathroom was sparkling clean and the whole place just just gave me the good feels. If we lived in this area, this place would definitely be our breakfast spot!!! Thank you Northfield restaurant for getting us to a good start and thank you Ms. Kathy for your service. Sincerely, the 4 top that sat in the big booth Sunday morning around 7am on May 21st.

Go for everything that’s great about the American diner. You won’t get chandeliers and caviar but you will get great diner, food, plenty of space to eat, and lots of atmosphere.

Great olde school atmosphere. Feels a little like a diner in New England.

Have been going here for years. Went today and it was just as good as I remember. Good food, great prices, free parking, clean restaurant, and friendly staff. So glad this small business survived the pandemic. Will be back again soon to try the Strawberry shake I saw multiple people order that looked delicious.

Classic road side restaurant so if you like butter on your toast, ask for toast swimming.

Great lunch, and we found this place by accident. Highly recommend. I had the tuna melt on rye and my wife had the BLT. We could have shared. BTW, "deluxe" means it comes with fries.

Best of the old school Greek diners in the area. Food is good. They know how to prepare it. The prices are in line. Staff makes it fun. Fresh cut turkey is amazing in Club Sand. This is how it used to be.

Its like they picked up the diner from childhood and placed it here in Northfield. If you were like me and had a great local diner in town growing up this is this place! Food comes out super quick and its fairly priced (maybe under priced). Great diner, attentive staff (never have to ask for refill on my coffee)! Recommend!
