We stopped at Debora's on our way to the Houston area after touring Golead's Presidio and Mission. It was perfect because the restaurant is located in the beautiful, historic town square which I had also wanted to see. We were very hungry after hours in the car, and our lunch didn't disappoint. My husband's patty melt was delish, and I had a great BLT, but the cheeseburger soup was out of this world. And I don't eat hamburgers! The staff was great and the experience was wonderful.

A great hidden gem in a small beautiful town square of Goliad, TX. We picked this town because it was half way spot between myself and dear friend. The icing on the cake was Deborah’s Kitchen. The food is amazing. The service is great and friendly. The key lime and pecan pie delicious!

We got chicken fried steaks. So delicious. Just the right size. The onion rings are large and yummy. This was our first time but we will go back. Check it out people. The houses are 6 to 3 Mon thru Fri. For desert I had the best bread pudding in Texas. My husband had chocolate pie-woo hoo.

Delicious food, wonderful service and just plain cute atmosphere. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly, the gravy was spot one, onion rings were amazing and the pecan pie was spectacular.

I had the Stuffed Cabbage Roll with mashed potatoes and green beans. My partner had the Pecan Crusted Chicken. That was followed by a slice of coconut pie and lemon pie. It was everything I'd hoped for and more. That wonderful southern hospitality and southern food that you read about? Well I definitely found it here.

Excellent Southern cooking. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, green beans and roll for lunch. Yum! Tasted like the great food my Texas aunt used to cook. And then the chocolate meringue pie! Heaven! Service was friendly, fast, and courteous; restaurant was clean and inviting; restroom was clean and spacious. Would definitely visit Deborah's again. Wish we had a place like that in Austin.

From out of town and looking for a place to eat lunch. Really enjoyed the meal at the new location on the square. Great homemade food. The place was super busy, yet everyone was friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.
