I got the chicken fried steak sandwich with fries. Wife got the Turkey club. Both were good but hers was better, that is one to get. She ordered a Hot Toddy a drink most places have trouble making and while they needed help the got it made well.

I got one of their signature drinks The Santa Ana Margarita and while tart it was good and only 7 bucks. The CFS I feel I should have gotten regular with gravy but as a sandwich it was big and good. The people were attentive and friendly. They really went out of their way to get the Hot Toddy right

The prices were reasonable and it is right on the town square so you can walk around after to fun and quaint shops. The restrooms were clean and nice. Overall I recommend visiting and eating here.

Great food, atmosphere and customer service. I'm in town from work and ate dinner here. The owners stopped in for dinner and chatted for a while, they were really cool. Easily the best food spot in Goliad. 10/10 will definitely visit a few more times

I love the place and the food. I had chicken fried steak many many times but this one is the best I had so far. Friendly staff and great menu. I'm visiting but this place is #1 on my books.

The Empresario Restaurant was great! I had chicken fried for lunch and it was very good. We came back for breakfast the next morning too. I highly recommend the "Emilio" breakfast. And I have to add that the people who work there are very friendly.

Top notch food and drinks! The menu is wonderful and the food is well prepared. In Texas tradition, they have a killer chicken fried steak and the meatloaf is a must try. Excellent wine selection, and Jake just made me a wonderful margarita!

While in town from Victoria, we stopped in. WOW!! I can’t remember the last time I felt that the service outshined the food. Don’t get me wrong… the food is absolutely delicious. Wish I could eat it all. However, the service and conversation from the owner (Sam) and his family was the best we’ve had in years. Bless them and their hearts for God with your business.

I loved the food and service. My kids were happy and satisfied with their mini corn dogs that were made on site. I had the pork fries, with avocado as my meal. I would recommend German Chocolate Pecan pie for dessert!! It was creamy and the crust was like a tart. I also enjoyed the Whiskey Punch. My kids had the assorted cookies, they were buttery and delicious. Definitely will go again when passing through.

If you are in the area, you should definitely stop here! Everything we had was delicious and the service was amazing. By the end of the meal my kids were talking about how good everything was and how we are definitely coming back, even though we live 9 hours away, and my daughter was telling my husband to make sure he tips well cuz everyone was so kind.

New owners. Great lunch. Chicken fried steak. Very meaty light crust with a super salad. Not to mention the fresh bread. Definitely a return visit is needed to try out the dinner menu as well. The Water Well Cafe

Fantastic food. My friend let me try her steak and it melted in my mouth like butter. Her husband's chicken fried steak was the perfect ratio of meat to batter. My chicken enchilada had the best sauce and it was a meal, not just one small corn tortilla with a few teaspoons of filling. The fried green beans and okra were also excellent. And the top shelf margarita? Knocked me on my butt like a sledge hammer. Awesome experience all around.

We visited Goliad and this restaurant was a great discovery. The chicken fried steak might just be the best chicken fried steak I have ever had. We were also lucky to be there while they were having a special of fried green beans with sounds strange to say but they were awesome. My wife had the stacked beef and it was also very tasty and tender. The location is very interesting and there are two very cool tables at the front surrounded by windows which give you a great view of the main square and good people watching.

Love this restaurant. Prices are fair for quality of food. Owners are frequently here and are very gracious. Servers are phenomenal. Goliad has some really good restaurants, but this is by far mine and my family's favorite. For a group of four with adult beverages we range $100-125 with Ribeyes for the adults. Come hungry and leave with leftovers!!! Keep up the great work.

After giving a 1 star in Victoria, I am so relieved that I can give this place a 5. Clean restrooms, the chicken fried steak was tender enough to cut with a fork. Bacon in the green beans and tasty mashed potatoes. I had a German chocolate peacan pie to finish off the meal. The waitress was new and in training. My glass was never below the half mark. Take it from this old fat guy, great restaurant, great food, nice building.

The absolute best chicken fried steak and French toast I've ever had. Full of local art and history this was a real treat. Staff was clean, sweet and professional. Very reasonable prices too.

The Empresario is situated in the very picturesque square in Goliad. The restaurant has a great old fashioned feel to it both inside and out.

Service was fast and friendly and the food was good. A good selection of Texas staples on the menu, chicken fried steak etc.

I would highly recommend this restaurant
