Absolutely best vet in this area! Kind, informative, professional, always try to get you in asap. I feel very secure taking my pets here, unlike other vets closer to Dublin on 377, who always seem to just want to get you out quick and if that doesn't work, they'll always just "put 'em down". River North actually does what's best for your animal, not for their pocket book. Can't say enough good about River North.

I have never had a better vet experience than here. When I took in my cat, they took the time to get her lots of pets and treats. They made sure to make her feel loved. The vet and vet tech were both very patient and took the time to explain everything as well as answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend taking your fur baby here.

Saved my miniature schnauzer's life after a critical cranial fracture from a horse - he was in shock from blood loss. Amazing care, couldn't be happier and more appreciative and Black Jack is on the mend. 💙

Absolutely the best Vet around! Plus all the staff is wonderful too! Dr. Herrington is extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring, compassionate and friendly. When my Boxer was a puppy she had pneumonia. I really didn't think she was going to make it. Dr. Herrington helped save her. I'm forever grateful! She did an excellent job with neutering my other Boxer and removing a tumor off his ear. I trust her completely with my fur babies. She takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. This is a place that treats you like family. Highly recommend!

I recently visited RNSAH and I hands down had the best experience ever at a vet clinic! When I walked in they kindly greeted me and my dog and handed me a simple and easy new patient form to fill out. They then promptly took my dog and I into an exam room. The tech was very kind and easy to talk to. She asked thorough questions and was very knowledgeable. They completed a heart worm test and administered vaccines in a timely manner. They also treated my dog with patience and kindness which is very important to me because my dog gets anxious and sometimes has aggressive tendencies. Which I was very impressed that he did not bark or growl at the staff. The vet also came to the exam room in a timely manner and gave me a brief overview of my pet’s visit. She answered any questions I had and was very kind. They also gave me a cute file folder with my pet’s name handwritten on it, lots of informative papers in it, and a rabies tag with his name and my phone number on it. Lastly, my pet was a bit nervous and was blocking the exam room door so we could head out. They kindly accommodated to us and let us pay in the exam room. No other clinic I’ve ever been to has been this detailed oriented and accommodating to my pet and I. I am so glad I decided to go to this clinic and will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to take their pet to the vet.

The care this entire team provides is amazing. My new kitten Beans had to go in for some urinary care, and the attitude and professionalism of this establishment is unmatched anywhere else. They are extremely nice and answered all of my questions, went over medications and made the whole process super easy. They even drew little jelly beans on his folder! Best Vet care in Stephenville.

We love Dr. Herrington and all the staff at RNSAH! She always fully exams our dogs when we take them in. Recently she discovered a serious health concern with one of our animals that would have had serious complication if not treated. It is so great having a vet who doesn’t just provide cookie cutter treatment. I highly recommend her and her great staff!

I absolutely LOVE River North and their wonderful staff members. I never have to worry about my Rowdy Ray when he is in their care and they always make sure i am both comfortable and confident in their services when I drop him off! I absolutely love this vet! They truly treat your pets as one of their own and make sure they get the best care possible. My dog who naturally hates the vet makes a beeline for the door as soon as we get there, he loves to go! Dr.Harrington is such an amazing person as well as the rest of the staff there. She makes sure you understand what is going on with your dog and will even sit and chat with you about unrelated dog things lol! I don't have enough room on this review to write all the amazing things I have to say about North River Small Animal Hospital. Just a super friendly and calm environment. Our small dog had a skin condition that we could not get under control. We'd been elsewhere and had been given instructions. Nothing worked and our dog was getting worse, really terrible condition. We came in for 'second opinion' and were given a very different course of action (very opposite what we'd been told to do elsewhere) one that worked and healed our dog. Ultimately, we're migrating our pets over to this clinic, as they are IMO expert. I tend to think it may be due in part to their focus on (as the name of business suggests) small animals. Even beyond their being able to actually FIX our problem, which really is the aim, they are so skilled and experienced handling animals. Not just the excellent doctor, but the excellent people who work alongside her. For another example, we brought our Border Collie in, and he is a bit challenging. He's very protective, he just has a stand-offish personality to anybody he doesn't know. All the socializing we did when he was young wasn't enough to change that. Long-story shorter, they handled him like they're dog-whisperers. He likes them now (and he likes almost nobody). I'm so glad I went for that 'second opinion' and found this wonderful doctor and her equally fantastic staff.

BEST VET AROUND My kitten came down with a nasty virus that could have taken her eye. My wife brought her in and explained that we were really low on funds because I had to have emergency surgery so it set us back financially having to pay out of pocket. Dr. Kay Herrington and her staff were extremely compassionate toward my wife she worked with her in every way she could until we found a plan that worked best for my current situation. I can not say enough nice things about Dr.Herrington and her staff they really care about the animals and clients. So if you care about your fur babies take them to Dr. Kay G.Herrington <3

The staff of River North Small Animal Hospital has been absolutely amazing! I couldn’t have asked for better people to take care of my fur baby. This is the first dog I’ve had on my own since I moved away from home and I was a bit nervous but I know if I ever have questions or concerns regarding my puppy River North will be there for me and Ryder! I absolutely love this clinic and everyone there and I’ll continue to take all of my pets there!

I've only gone here twice since I moved here, but I have to say that the staff is incredible. I couldn't have asked for another great vet clinic for my sweet baby Lily. The care and love they show her and I is outstanding, appreciated, and reciprocated.
Today I was having a very hard time and they were so helpful and kind to me. Thank you all so much for caring about not only the animals you care for, but the humans who accompany them too.
I will forever reccomend this vet clinic to anyone and everyone who has a furry family member they want taken care of and loved properly.

This is literally one of the best veterinarian and vet office in town. The whole office is wonderful. From the front desk receptionist to the vet techs. The Dr is AMAZING! She really knows her stuff and makes sure you understand everything that is going to be done to your baby before they do it. She keeps up on current medicine and procedures. She is passionate about her job you can tell. It’s not just a job it’s a career ! We absolutely love love love this office. Look no further for a Dr to care for your fur babies !

The experiences I've had with other local vets has been less than reassuring or welcoming. From the moment I walked in the front door I was greeted, my baby was taken to the back and cared for while I received a full run down of her condition and treatment plan. I also found out the leg that was supposedly beyond help may in fact be saved! I cannot begin to thank Dr. Herrington and her staff for their generosity and kindness, and I won't take my dogs anywhere else!

After seeking a vet that was able to care for my fur baby when all other vet clinics were full or just wasn't very helpful (even after calling my own vet). They were concerned and able to help my fur baby when no one else seemed to be interested. They really took care of me and my fur baby.

This hospital/clinic is fantastic! Can't give enough stars. I feel like they really care for your animal and its well being. Super nice and caring doctor and staff. I HIGHLY recommend them.
