Wisconsin Athletic Club | Downtown

The location is super convenient, which gets big marks in my book! I really appreciate the machine selection and overall cleanliness. While I wish they stayed open longer (especially on the weekends!), I've been able to use the equipment I want whenever I go. Worth checking out!

I have been part of many gym clubs in the Wisconsin area and I'm happy to report that the Wisconsin Athletic Club (WAC) might just the right place for you. I workout between the Milwaukee & Wauwatosa location depending on my work schedule, and I'm always welcomed by trained professional staff. Each location has some thing unique to offer! However what has kept me being a member for over a year now is the cleanliness and well maintained machines in all their facilities. Although the price might be higher then your Planet fitness or local gym, the WAC has the latest of advance equipment to help you achieve your fitness goal!

Best gym in Milwaukee hands down! Taylor is a great trainer if you’re looking for one. All the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Gym is superbly clean. Great range of equipment and class options.

Been here a couple times as a guest. One heck of a gym. Lots of equipment and space. Great for a solid workout and the price of membership is incredibly reasonable.

Amazing and friendly staff! I go to the Downtown location and everyone there is super helpful and always has a smile on their face while interacting with members. I just had a personal training session with Noel and it was great! She was able to push and motivate me while also helping to educate me on different workouts and help perfect my form. I highly recommend this location and gym!

The downtown location holds an assortment of well maintained equipment. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. There is a diverse clientele that ensures a warm and welcoming vibe to everyone. Most important are the rays of natural light from a myriad of windows with views of downtown that motivate and guarantee a productive and satisfying workout. Caution: you may become addicted.

So much better than every other gym in the area, with extremely kind and helpful staff everywhere I go. The towel service and sanitizing wipes beat having to spray your own paper towels. There’s schedules everywhere for their classes, and it’s helpful to know when the studios are free to do my own thing. I was shocked to find out my old (corporate chain) gym didn’t even allow you to jump rope anywhere on their property. I just prefer it to running or other forms of cardio. I wish the rowing machines were a little bit better but it’s fine for now. I ditched the old gym immediately and joined WAC after taking them up on their 7-day complimentary trial!

Convenient downtown location, good equipment and they offer classes. Reasonable price for access to all their locations.

I certainly enjoy the WAC Downtown location and the convenience of free parking they provide to members!
The equipment is well maintained and sanitized regularly. I am a senior man with some especial considerations when exercising. I have been working out with Corey Petta and is a very diligent, caring and knowledgeable trainer! While I’m still getting familiar with the gym, it has been a pleasurable experience!

Favorite WAC location! It wasn’t as close to my normal one but I loved coming here! This location is incredibly clean. They have great machines as well. I enjoyed their running track also. Thank you Wisconsin Athletic Club! You guys are great!

I love the Wisconsin Athletic Club! I am a member and we’ve also brought them in to do classes for my work, and the customer service can’t be beat on either end. Lots of incentives, classes and perks for members so you’ll never be bored, very responsive and kind to work with. Special shout out to Frances and Emily at the downtown location, and Richard at the North Shore location! You all rock!

This is the best gym you can find in Wisconsin! Its very clean and staff are professional and nice. I had a tour of the facility with Monique and she made the sign up process so smooth, and explained all the membership benefits. I also like my personal trainer, Corey. He is very knowledgeable about his job and so nice and friendly. I recommend this place to everyone who looks for a nice gym in Milwaukee.

This is one of my favorite Downtown MKE gyms. It is very clean, the staff are friendly, personal trainers were incredibly helpful and welcoming (shout out to Frances), classes are great with helpful instructors (I enjoy Monday night yoga the best), and even though it is busy after work, I can still find equipment to use without having to wait for more than a few minutes.

Great facilities, super staff, and respectful clientele (never saw anyone filming). A+++

This is the best gym I have ever belonged to. By far. It doesn’t smell at all, even the locker rooms smell clean. Staff is nice. Equipment is updated, functional, and clean. Locker rooms are spacious and well equipped. I can’t find a single complaint except that their hours are somewhat restrictive on weekends.

Everyone I have ever worked with her is very friendly, from the front desk to the trainer's. The floor isn't huge but they use the space better than clubs with twice the room. The classes are always popular and seem to be great group activities. The spin and yoga classes I've taken have been great and the instructors definitely know what they're doing. Also Hubie is the man!

Awesome amenities! This location has a large selection of equipment to utilize for your workout. As well as an updated locker room with large sauna and steam room. During the times I go (between 2pm and 4pm) it is not crowded but even during peak hours you don't have to wait too long for a machine to become free.

You definitely get what you pay for at this gym. There's really no wait on free weights during peak hours. View is awesome. Steam room and sauna are great amenities after a gruesome work out or run. Staff is friendly and talkative.
