Called to get information on opening a money market account. Talked to Davin and asked a logical question "what is the interest rate paid on the account" He told me I had to be a member of the bank for him to tell me. How do I know if I want to be a member if Citizens National wont tell me the interest rate? Then Davin told me that the rate is posted in their lobby. So why wouldn't he be allowed to simply tell me over the phone what it was? Illogical rule so I will not be letting this bank use my money. One last item... Davin got very defensive over the phone and could use a refresher on customer service. He is also apart of the reason I will not open an account at this bank.

Awful customer service, incredibly rude employees. Came in to exchange bills for $10 quarters and they were extremely rude because I’m “not a customer.”
I had a business account for over 10 years but recently moved it because of the bad service. Glad to know I made the right decision!

Don’t try to go through the drive thru to cash a check on Citizen Bank in Stephenville Texas. It ain’t gonna happen!!! I was told I had to go around and go into the lobby to cash the check!!!! Supposedly this was due to the fact that I didn’t have an account with Citizen bank!! Have never had a bank refuse to cash a check from their own bank!!!!
