Branch River Park

Breathtaking! Such a beautiful place. I have been coming to Goliand for many years and took time to notice the other attractions the town has to offer. This little park May be small, but it has a long nature trail that takes through some prestige wooded areas. It also takes you to what used to be a bridge that was a an old rail line that crossed over the San Antonio River. And a boardwalk that brought you as close as it can to the river's edge.

Super great history. The ranger was incredibly knowledgeable.

Beautiful area with alot of history, BIG oak trees, old historical structures/buildings. Even has a really nice play area for the little ones. (kid mom & kid dad allowed to play as well 😉) And for me, the cherry on top was the disc golf course they have along with a really nice trail to walk. Along the way you can learn about the local plants/hardwoods, influential people of the area from years back and some history of Goliad and the local areas. Definently take 1-2 hours and see what the area has to offer as you stroll along at your own pace and get familiar with the people, places and mother nature that helped to etch Goliad in the history books.

Awesome park. It has a 9 hole disc golf course. An amphitheater and playground. Also there is a great hiking trail that takes you right by the river. Loads of fun for them family.

Quiet space in a quiet town of Goliad, trails connects to Goliad Historical Park, nice access down the road to coast your canoe or kayak on the ramp down to the San Antonio River.

Quiet park just off the square in beautiful, historic Goliad. Good spot to read or enjoy a picnic lunch. Also has a 9 hole disc golf course.

Relaxing and peaceful park... it is well maintained and has several places to sit and relax. The play area is a little small, but perfect for younger children.

Nice little park has rr and a walking path and kids playground. Also has a 9 hole disc golf course Goliad City Hall does have some loaner disc.

Beautiful quiet park. Its peaceful and alot less occupied by the public. There's also a trail to walk and so much nature to admire. ❤

Clean , has restrooms , baggies to pick up dog poop. Water fountains , little walking area if u want to get a walk in .kids will have fun.

Great experience for the grandkids. Nice and clean . 1st time , will be back.

Fun and easy disc golf course here. It's 9 goals is great for beginners, such as myself.

After going to Soul Emporium I took a walk in this park and had a nice conversation with a friend. Peaceful place to get some history and nature
