Mama Chan's

Mama Chan's is great home cooked Thai food. We were visiting from Colorado and stopped in down from Macon. Mama Chan and staff were very kind and welcoming. We appreciate them staying open past 8:30 for us to finish our meal as we had come in a little late. We ordered fresh fried egg rolls, the tom yum soup, Thai fried rice and pad Thai... All delicious! Would travel out of our way to have Mama Chan cook for us again!

Do yourself a favor and go ahead and order both the egg rolls AND the crab Rangoon. Yum yum chicken special is always good! Otherwise I get the #11. Spicy sweet and sour chicken. Great family running a great, family friendly business!

I was recently made aware of Mama Chan's and was nearby and thought I'd check it out.

By far the best Thai food in a 50 mile radius!

Wow! Everything was homemade and Mama Chan walked around the whole time making sure you were happy. Amazing egg rolls.

Mama Chan's quickly made it to the top of my "best Thai in the area" list. The food was outstanding and the service was very friendly. I'm looking forward to going back to try other menu items. I had Pad Thai, which was great, but another customer ordered Pho which looked amazing.

There was indoor dining with social distancing. Reservations are preferred. The food is always excellent and served hot; we particularly like the appetizers. Our waitress was attentive to our needs. I highly recommend Mama Chan's in Mowequa.

The staff and owner "Mama Chan" are super friendly and the food is outstanding! Definitely handmade NOT the typical standard frozen Asian food that is brought in on a freezer truck. I loved the quite small town atmosphere in this restaurant.

We were told about this place a while ago and decided to give it a try. Amazing food. We love the yum yum chicken. It's not on the menu everyday so check or call first. Love this place

One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to. I don't mind the long hour drive to get there to satisfy my Thai food cravings. As an Asian, I'd say their meals are as authentic as Asian meals should be.

This is our new go to Thai place! Beats every place we have been to in Springfield and it is way closer to where we live. So far we have had the meatball pho, cashew chicken, basil beef, beef ramen, fresh spring rolls and crab Rangoon. The plan is to go through the whole menu we loved everything so far!

Once you eat here, you will never want any other Asian cuisine. It's life changing good food 😋

Best Thai food in central ILLINOIS! Service excellent! And the owners are great! Come out and make you feel at home! Will defiantly be a repeat customer!

From appetizers to dessert, the whole meal was fabulous. Mama Chan and Vin both came to the table to check on us. Well worth the drive to Moweaqua!

Very good a deal fresh. We had the egg rolls, crab Rangoon, cashew chicken and Thai fried rice with crab. A bit pricey but worth it.

The food is excellent! The staff are verry helpful at explaining whats in the menus. The staff are verfy friendly. The interior is verry clean and decorative. I live there crab ragoons.
