Reliance Inn

We decided we were going to book a night away and wanted a room with a tub to watch TV..

The front desk lady was very helpful, quick at her job and excited for us to have a night away as parents.

Upon entering the room, I started to look around at some commonly missed places of being clean, since I used to be a house keeper. I was very impressed with how clean this room was.

Seriously gotta buck for our bang.

They do offer waffles however, you do have to pay a small fee for them.

The 'laundry' guy was the best! Did not hesitate for an instant to CARRY a wheelchair down 5 steps!
The rooms were clean...quiet...everything worked as should. I felt safe running errands and leaving an elderly gent to nap peacefully!
Animals are an excellent judge of character. My service dog loved everyone and he suffered no anxiety whatsoever making it very easy to do his job!
Just booked another room for next week (another medical stay) and again .....more than accommodating with the special needs circumstances!
This is by far a 10 star experience!

very safe environment with security locks. That would update when needed. Good location right by festival goods and county market. Starbucks coffee and other great company’s.

Room was very clean and smelled good. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Tim on the night shift was especially compassionate as we were down here because my mother is in the cardiac ICU. The front desk manager Kim made sure I had plenty of coffee lol.

The night clerk at check in was Gracious, friendly, obliging...enjoyed my stay at this Reliance Inn...rooms were a little sparse and amply supplied for their price. Would stay here again🤗

Our stay was on valentine's day and was great, very quiet on the upper level, spacious, clean, we were allowed to bring our doggy Reggie which was GREAT 🐾 and only was $10 extra a night which isn't bad at all... They have delicious belgium waffles and coffee in the morning very cheap, very tasty! Over all the experience was very nice, relaxing and perfect for a couple and a baby 🥰 Thanks for the stay!

Not only had I received great Room Service, but the Customer Support provided by the Staff was more than comforting as well! After staying at the Reliance Inn for several days I experienced very hard working employees, friendly housekeepers, professional Management Services and a very safe atmosphere rather than staying here in the past! If there were one Employee there who deserves recognition it would be Desiree. Desiree had went above and beyond by providing me with any question, concern or essential needs I had during my stay. Although her attitude while doing so was even more efficient towards my satisfaction throughout the stay. Any other Hotel in the area does not, and will not compare to this one. I can't wait to come back again and experience the Reliance Inn with my Friends & Family!!!

Nice and clean, and extremely friendly and accommodating staff. If we found ourselves needing a room in the area we'd definitely stay again!!

Check in went smoothly. I was pleased when I opened the door to my room. It was modern, very clean with all new fixtures. No complaints here! I love the flooring; much better than carpet. The only negative is that you can hear everything that goes on in the halls. If you are in the hall, don't get the impression you can have a private conversation.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was quiet, and close to Granite Peak, and downtown Wausau. Room was very hot when I arrived. It seemed there were only on and off settings for the baseboard heater. I opened the window to cool down the room each evening and left the heater off for most of the night. You could possibly save on your heating bill if there were thermostats controlling the baseboard heater, or instructions on how to use the thermostat if there is one.

We spent last night at Motel 6 and were very pleased. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and made us feel very welcome even our little Chihuahua was accepted no exta charge or deposit. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Price was great. We will be back next time we are in the area!

I am here for my second visit now. For the price, this is the best value in Wausau. I would like to have a refrigerator but for the price I can't be picky. It is clean, adequately appointed, the beds are comfortable, it is quite, and the staff is really attentive. The desk clerk called me just to make sure the room was acceptable; I have never had that happen before. I will likely stay here every time I am in Wausau. It is in a really great location for dining and other shopping as well.

It was easy to book and with my disability; my request was honored to be on first floor. As of now, every Monday till end of June I am going to stay here. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies. And oh, the coffee was soo good. Mike

I was very happy to see this motel was very clean, had been recently renovated and was easily accessible from the freeway. I think this iwas an okay neighborhood. There are not that many motels that take dogs, so I am limited in my choices. I was telling some of my dog friends how nice it was, friendly, helpful staff and a great price. My only negative would be that my two pillows were not very soft. I meant to call for other pillows, but fell asleep! I consider that a minor problem, easily solved. There also is not a large area of grass to walk the dog, but there is a strip near parking which was sufficient. A Shopko was nearby and handy. All in all a Very Positive Stay!

Stayed here for one night and was quite impressed. When my friend informed me he had made a reservation to Motel 6 I was imagining a run-down motel with horrible guest services. This was not the case here -- newly renovated lobby and staff was super great. Safe, convenient location and more than enough parking.

Nice rooms, energetic, pleasant and helpful staff. Located at very nice place of Wausau. Market, buffet everything is nearby. Thank you so much front desk and housekeeping staff for helping me, whenever I needed. Neat and clean rooms with good cozy atmosphere. I got good sleep.

I really couldn't be happier with my stay. And it's not because I like floors with large gaps in the floor boards, a mirror splattered with paint, a sink with broken cabinet, a broken towel rack and a shower head that sprays everywhere... But because the price I paid was half of what it was everywhere else, at hotels with similar wear and tear, and the only added benefit of a Continental breakfast. For half the price, I'll HAPPILY go buy my own breakfast.

The pillows were a bit unsubstantial, but the bed was fine, the heat worked great, the TV was crisp and the door locked solid. In fact, the only thing I might complain about, was that I didn't get housekeeping one day, but... By again, for the price, I can make my own bed and re-use towels.

Without question, I will happily stay here again.

Guest we're friendly and service was Great the workers really made my stay a enjoyable 2 weeks and late night when. Everything is closed and u have munchies they have 🍕 they cook for u not the best pizza but hey it was great for 4 am. LoL any ways loved our stay will definitely be coming back

Love it here, only place I'll stay at when I come to Wausau, Wisconsin.

Clean room, good bed and a great price. Desk Staff very friendly and helpful. No frills. Would stay here again.
