Not exactly sure what her name was but she has glasses and purple hair, she was absolutely incredible with the joyful attitude and making you feel welcomed, also made really good drinks. They really fit with the BookPeople vibes. Love her.

One of my favorite coffee shops, to study or meet friends.

My daughter and I walked in not thinking much of this place, but were there because we saw online that they serve lavender lattes. The coffee area was not inviting, but after going to different coffee shops the last several days in search of a delicious lavender option and feeling discouraged, we decided to try it anyway. We LOVED it there!!! I wish I remembered the barista's name, because he was very polite, helpful and made THE BEST lavender latte!!!! We browsed, shopped and bought pins, stickers, socks, tshirts, notepads, bags and books and wished we could stay all day, but even though we couldn't, we returned this morning for another latte and the barista remembered our order from yesterday. We'll definitely return next time we're in town. The staff are kind, helpful and made us feel welcomed.

This the best espressos I have tasted in the area. Outstanding blend. Expert barista . Congratulations. I can not explain why other people rated this low. One possibility is that the low taters are not real coffee lovers but they rate the decorations

The gal who worked the counter, didn’t catch her name but she had some tattoos, was totally cool and did well on the coffee drink I ordered. I also got a hummus wrap which tasted good.

Everything you could want! Playful & professional staff, refreshing coffee & tea drinks, and locally made treats if you get hungry. Plus... a relaxed atmosphere to find your new favorite book. Love this little slice of heaven — a place I always visit when I’m back in town (and miss while I’m away!).

Get your caffeine fix while cruisin' one of the biggest independent bookstores in Texas! The cafe is clean, delicious, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a visit here!

Great set of baristas and a great spot to grab a much needed caffeine jolt or snack. And they just added soup to the menu!
